Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Easy To Use Intro To Slacklining! This was my first slackline and I must say that there couldn't be an easier way to get into the sport! Setup with the 2 piece system and safety ratchet gets you up and going with a nice and tight (easier to learn on) line just about anywhere your heart desires! Heck, I even set it up in my carport on a rainy day (don't worry the supports were giant concrete pillars!) I have purchased the jibline from Gibbon that I use now, but I keep this one in my trunk at all times just in case I feel the itch to slack off, or end up at a BBQ that needs a fun activity! My only warning is that the bright red color can bleed a little when the line gets damp. I hope this review helps get more people into the sport!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile line, great for beginners! This was my first slackline, and it was great for that purpose! It's simple to set up and easy to tension. The 2 inch width is great for beginners as they learn to walk and it's still versatile enough to start learning tricks. I used the line for about six months until it was stolen and I replaced it with the Gibbon Surfline, which is longer and bouncier, designed for tricks. Compared to the surfline the classic is much more stable. It is less lively with its lateral shaking and it is less powerful in its trampoline effect. I wish I had spent more time practicing aerial tricks on my classic because learning then on my surfline feels a bit like learning to drive in a race car. The bottom line is this is a great, versatile slackline that I would recommend for any beginner. Even if you branch off into doing tricks or longlining later and get a second line you'd never outgrow this line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 82ft adds setup versatility & time setting up/down The extra length of this model over the 49 foot one is definitely advantageous giving you more options of set-up locations but is a pain if you aren't utilizing the full length and have to pull all the extra line through the ratchet and takes longer to put away when done using it. My friend has the shorter one so I opted for this one so I have the option of either length as I usually slackfline with him. We have found this longer model most useful when slacklining above pools where the standard length has always been only a couple feet too short.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New Obsession I absolutely love this line. It has allowed me to take slacklining to the next level while teaching friends the basics. It has been an all around awesome purchase and I am always excited to set it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! Wonderful product, and wonderful people associated with it. It's like belonging to a club, "you slackline?" "yeah man!" and there's an instant connection. Only downside is eventually you will have to get the surfline if you want to get into airborne tricks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, great benefits! This was my first ever slackline. I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but for the price, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I sucked at slacklining when I first started, but got better quickly and it is very addicting. I love that Gibbon has a lot of instructional videos on YouTube. They were all very helpful. My balance has improved greatly not only for slacklining but in various activities...even doing handstands! As for the product, it is very easy and convenient to use. The only "negative" is that if you are not careful while loading the ratchet, and it does not track correctly when ratcheted, the line may fray fairly quickly. This only seemed to happen to me when I was setting up the max distance (80ft) or so. No fraying at all on shorter distances yet, so even tho the end of the line frayed, it is definitely still great for slightly shorter lines (and I bought it in August of 2012!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for what you need I'v had my line for almost a year and it hasn't wore much at all! It is a great line to get started on and to even start working on some tricks! Definitely worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This line is great for learning on because it doesn't have the stretch of other lines. I have enjoyed this line because even after learning the basics the length of the line allows for gaining skills at a more advanced level. This line is a great option for someone who is unsure of how far into slack lining they want to go. When at full length one can still find a good challenge in just walking across. Great product for novices and advanced users alike!
