Perfection
Beautiful, I love this clothes, high quality and nice
Great Shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using Columbia gear for decades. Last Fall I donated several of my older Columbia fishing shirts to Habitat for Humanity and began rebuilding my fishing wardrobe. This Low Drag fits the bill for my outdoor activities, mainly fishing and hiking in Northern New Mexico (Taos/Santa Fe). Light weight, functional , articulate and stylish, it's great for a fly or spinning rig, with room to move and it keeps you cool. The front yokes give it a nice Cowboy touch too If it only had a cup holder ;>) I would buy them all. Do yourself a favor and invest in a great fishing/hiking/all around quality piece of Columbia attire.
Static Cling is Annoying
Two things to comment regarding these long sleeve shirts. 1. Columbia's sizing is way off. If you normally wear a large shirt from any other manufacturer you may find a medium size is better. 2. The static Cling is unbelievable. Having purchased two of them these shirts adhere to your skin as if poured on directly to your body. This cling makes the shirts totally lacking in comfort and enjoyability.
The color is not whole
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this model, the fabric is super soft, very fresh. It is one of my favorites. I didn't know what this color was like, it has small squares on the fabric, it only shows if you're close. The color is not solid as in other models. Even so, I like it a lot, I would like it more if it were solid, but it's fine. I bought S size and carbon color.
Favorite Shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite PFG shirt. I could wear this shirt everyday in a different color if I had to. I actually have bought it in 4 different colors now. The only thing about this shirt is that it runs big. I usually wear a large in most things and sometimes even an XL in some t-shirts. I did get a large in this shirt and it fits rather large on me but I always have it tucked in so it isn't too bad. I ended up getting a medium in my other shirts like this one and they fit much better. Great to wear out on the boat, while in the water wade fishing, or just going to the office.
Love this style of shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight with sun protection makes this good for warm weather travel. And the best part is you can easily hand wash these and they'll be dry the next day. This will allow you to haul fewer clothes and save space in the suitcase/back pack.
Superb quality
This shirt was purchased for our Search & Rescue team. They are cool and very comfortable! They look great and feel awesome. The men's shirt runs slightly large. We would highly recommend this shirt for spring, summer and fall activites.
What's with the sewn-on advertisement on the back?
Didn't scroll over to the second page of online images before buying, so I didn't see that it has an ugly sewn-on triangular advertisement for Performance Fishing Gear on the back. I suppose it's no worse than "Kick Me" on the back, except that it looks difficult or impossible to remove. Other than that, the shirt is not as good, in quality or fit, as the several Columbia shirts I've bought in the last several years that I thought this would be similar to. So, maybe 3 stars for the shirt without the advertisement on the back, one star with it. YMMV.
Great for Travel and Adventure
I recently purchased two of these shirts to replace some older nylon shirts that had seen better days. These shirts were exactly what I was looking for. I hate heavy or thick nylon shirts because they are always too hot. These are ultra thin and cool even on a 90+ degree day with high humidity. I wore one of the shirts on a recent weekend trip to the Finger Lakes. I only brought/wore the one shirt for the trip and it was very comfortable for the car ride as well as for doing touristy stuff and out on the lake. It washes easily in the hotel sink and dries very quickly (another requirement for my nylon adventure shirts). The long sleeves were a huge plus too because it was very sunny and I didn't get any sun burn--a huge advantage for me since I nearly get burned on cloudy days and my skin doesn't like sunscreen very much. Plus the sleeves roll up neatly and the shirt looks dressy enough that I was able to wear it along with my Columbia kahki zip off pants to dinner at a higher end resturant in the evening witout looking a bit out of place. Thanks for a great product--please don't change or discontinue this product!!!
Lots of compliments!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has this shirt in all the colors available that he prefers. Every time he wears one, he gets at least one compliment. We are hoping more colors will be offered in the near future. He needs to keep his arms protected from the sun's rays which this shirt does, he loves the lightweight fabric, and I like the way it comes out of the dryer with little or no pressing needed! Note that the sleeves are a little long and the size itself is generous. Columbia - please keep this shirt in your catalog and come out with some more colors!
