Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Functional Two years ago, my portable pump stopped working, and I decided to try a CO2 inflator. The CO2 inflator worked great when it worked, but when it didn't I was stuck on the side of the road. One time, somebody stopped and let me borrow the more expensive version of this pump after a CO2 misfire. I worked great, and I decided to get one. I chose the cheaper version of this pump because they seem identical other than the handle, which is not really a functional part of the pump. It easily mounts on the same screws as my water bottle cage, and is very lightweight. It may only get you to 100psi, as the other reviewer mentioned, but that's all I need--I ride 25mm tires and don't need more than 90psi for 15% tire drop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from emergency pump Bought this to stow in my saddle bag and have available for flat tire fixing on the road. I bike commute in Boston, MA where the roads are littered with glass and nails. I used the pump for the first time the other day. It is very light and compact, perfect size for my saddle bag. It's small, so obviously you have to pump quite a bit to get your tire up to pressure, and you won't get it all the way up. But it is perfect for its purpose: getting back to riding shape in roadside repairs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks Don't try to save money buying this pump. I thought it would be good as a backup - small, light, easy to fit in jersey. I tried it at home before going for a ride and the hose will not seal correctly against the pump no matter how tightly it is screwed in. Air just comes out as you are pumping. I do like the hose and screw in fit to the valve but with the leaking it is worthless. Will be returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hopefully there are better compact pumps It advertises that it will inflate up to 120psi yet I've never been able to pump it beyond 100 psi on multiple attempts. Even worse, you end up losing about 10psi unscrewing the hose from the stem. I'm still looking for a good compact pump.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent emergency pump I carry CO2 with an inflator head for quick flat repairs, but there's always that ride that sees you flat 2-3 times. This little pump will get me up to about 100 PSI -- enough to get home. Not sure about the long-term durability, but it's cheap insurance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap and Amaizing I have owened the $45 CC machined, all alluminum, chromed out version of this. So at first i was skeptic of the the plastic cheaper version. This works well for smaller mountain bike, bmx, folding bike, beach cruiser bike etc. that doesnt require 120 psi and above (check your tire requirements on the acutal tire). First attached the Flexhose to the Lezyn pump before attaching to the tire, or basketball, othrwise YOU WILL loose preasure during installation. Turn the Flexhose thread attached to the tire and the pump handle turns with it. Very easy to use. The only difference i see between this and the $45 one, besides the plastic, is that the Flex Tube has no pressure release button. You dont really need this unless you have a peasure gauge in line to measure accurate tire preassure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not big enough Got this the same time I got the tubes, it does do the job but, took to long and I was afraid I would pull off the valve. I will be taking this back to the store. I ordered from REI online, Lezyne HP Micro Floor Drive Mini Pump, haven't had to use it yet. It's a small floor pump about twice as long as this one, presta/schrader. This one was just not up to the task for my 29er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great road repair punp Bought this for our tour across the US. We started in San Diego and are almost through Texas. We've had five flats and this pump has served us well. It is light, small and easier to use than any other handheld pump I've ever used.
