Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Mush is not what it use to be I've owned several pairs of Mush flip flops through the years and loved them because they were durable, stylish and most of all comfortable. Having not been able to locate the original Mush anywhere else, I ordered directly from Teva, only to discover upon receipt that the design of the Mush has changed. Labeled the Mush II - this flip flop does not feel or fit like the original. The toe piece is too long and the ribbon thong sits much farther back on the foot (closer to your ankle). It is also shorter in size. I was very disappointed and returned the item. I am now looking at the flip flop from the Maine retailer instead. So long Teva Mush, it was a good run.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protection underfoot but not on side Best sandal underfoot and most lightweight. However, this year (2011) Teva has pared 1/2 inch off the width of the Mush flip-flops, so now we have lost the side bumper protection for our foot. Part of the joy of the Mush flip-flop was the carelessness with which we could walk, and now that is gone. Also the new model's inner strap slightly rubs on the arch of my foot in this narrower model, and my heel hangs off the side a fraction of an inch. The old wider design is much better for me and my feet, which are quite normal and not even wide. Now I will have to unfortunately reassess the merits of other brands that are wider. I've been wearing the old model for 3 years and it is my main shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too small, but still comfy. I wear my Mush flip-flops almost every day. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have several pair that I've bought over the years and can still wear, because they last forever. I recently bought a new pair that claims to be the same size as my older shoes. When I slipped them on, I was disappointed to see that my last two toes now stick out over the sides, and my heels are right up against the back edges. My older shoes fit perfectly. I hate the wait and the hassle of returning items purchased online, so I'm sucking it up and wearing them anyway. I just hope they go back to the older, slightly bigger footprint. Go a size up when ordering, and you should be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Styling has changed I love Teva Mush flip-flops and have at least 10 pairs. This season I was disappointed to find the styling had changed. They run about a half size smaller, are narrower, and the sole is thinner. I have a medium to wide foot and have always loved the wideness of these flip-flops compared to others. They are not so narrow they cannot be worn, just not the same quality as before. When I line up this years model with last year's, it is significantly smaller. I am on my feet all day and these still have the best arch support of all the flip-flops I have tried so I will keep them. On a good note, I love the new patterns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware if your feet are a tad wide.. These are super cute! These flip flops run a tad narrow and are a little tight but its bearable. But my feet tend to be a tad wide so its going to take me a little while to bring them in. To the ladies out there that have the same feet problem as me, here is a nice tip. What I've been doing is, instead of me actually having to walk in them in order to break them in, you can use the "water in sandwich bag technique" and stick them in the freezer. You can look up videos online for this exercise if you are more of a visual learner. The ice will do the breaking in for you while your feet don't have to suffer the pain!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent inexpensive Sandal I received these sandals as a warranty exchange for an old pair of Deckers. Unfortunately the company no longer makes the Decker brand so we had to settle for these, which are fine but not built as sturdy and with less support than the Deckers. I have another pair of Teva Mush, that I've owned for the last two years and they are comfortable but had to be broken in. The new ones are not built on the same last and I'm hoping they will not take as long to break in and be comfy. I'm happy the company comped me a new pair of sandals but bummed that they are not the same quality or comfort...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You have changed! I have worn Mush flip-flops for several years and have loved every step I have taken in them. I always buy two or more pairs each summer, however, this years MUSH has changed. It is more narrow the footbed has been shortened and it is just not confortable for one with a wide foot. I hope to see the "old" style mush and symbol back on the shelf or I will not be buying Mush flip flops again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BE! Disappointed. My very first MUSH flip flops were like walking on a cloud. Thereafter, everybody in the family got MUSH like Mom's! We cruised to Mexico and a couple of us got new Mush flip flops before the trip, but we immediate noticed a difference in the soles--not at all like they used to be. Definitely not as soft and cushiony. Also the toe shape is different--more pointed in a slightly strange shape that doesn't really follow the shape of my foot like the old ones. These are still very good flip flips, but please bring back the old sole and foot shape! We miss them!
