Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top mountain bike product Excellent product. Allows you to easily save weight (rotating mass) while also running lower pressures and reducing/eliminating flats. How else can you save important weight while also getting better traction and fewer or no flats? A win all around. Follow installation instructions as well as many good You Tube videos for installation. Take your time and make sure the rim is properly prepared and the tires are appropriate. Some tires are easy, some are essentially impossible. Stan's help-line is excellent for advice and set-up tips, as is its FAQ. Set up can be a breeze or a nightmare.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from arizona coral Stans works great but in Arizona even in the winter time it only last about 3-4 weeks max before you need to pull out the piece of coral created from the latex. I have had several tires mostly Specialized Captains which have been destroyed by the ammonia in the product causing bubble on the outside tread and no they will not warranty the tires with this product use if bubbles show on the tread. unless you want to go through the pain of making this product yourself REI does provide the best price on this product. I just wish they could keep it in stock since I have to go through so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Pajoodles! Thought I'd like to try tubeless, but I don't really have a tubeless tire, just an old Rocket Ron. The grip is way better when the pressure is low and I'm not worrying about pinching a tube, but, on a seven mile ride I had to stop and air it up twice. Got home and put a water hose on the tire and there were tiny bubbles all over the place. (Martin Denny would've been ecstatic!) All around the bead on both sides and all over the sidewalls, that tire was leaking like a macaroni strainer. Put an additional 4 oz. of Stan's in, for a total of 8 oz., swished and rolled it all around, laid it flat for a while, swish it around some more, lay it flat on the other side. After a couple days of this, it holds air just as if it had a good tube in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than other sealants I have tires with slime in them and thorns always seem to defeat the slime. Stan's NoTubes is a better alternative to other products on the market. I recently filled my slime filled leaky tire with Stan's and it's holding. I haven't had to refill the air or noticed any decrease in tire pressure. Glad it's benign enough not to react with other sealants. ( I asked the guy at the bike station at REI in Austin, TX and he told me I should be fine) I am more than fine with this stuff. It's going in all our bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff I used it in tubes to one of My recumbent bikes a few months ago, noticed that tires held air much longer than before. So I decided to put it in all 5 bikes, two of them have presta valves that did not have removable cores, had to convert tubes. It is worth it to Me, if I can get by airing tires less. It is much cheaper to purchase this container than those 2 oz. bottles. I feel like this product gets better results in tube than tubless tires.
