Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like walking on a cloud Provides A LOT of support because of the criss cross straps, but still easy to flip on and off. Recently bought these for a trip to FLA where I was on my feet all day, running after kids and carrying them around when their feet were tired(should have bought my nieces and nephews Tevas!). Casual enough to be worn for errands, but stylish enough to dress up an outfit. Ive never had a problem with "breaking in" Teva shoes, and these sandals are no different. The only reason I didnt give these 5 stars is because there was a communication issue with shipping and had I not been obsessively tracking the order I wouldnt have gotten them on time for my trip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as comfortable as the older model I had an earlier version of this flip/flop that was cuter and a lot more comfortable. Unfortunately the dog ate them. Really. These are the same thing with different fabric, which is stiffer and needed to be washed in order not to chafe my toes. The left shoe does not fit as well as the right (a bit of difference in strap lengths plus the angle at which the two attach to the sole) suggesting that QC may be lagging. I miss the old ones, but these will do. I use them primarily as slippers indoors as I would not really expect the sole to last long outside. But it is consistent with what a lot people do wear all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Total comfort I already have one pair of these cute little sandals in pink. All the strapping makes them very stable and you don't get the between the toe bite that usually happens with most flip flops, I'm thinking its because more straps must take pressure off the area between your toes. The sole is like walking on air, this shoe truly is broken in when you take them out of the box. Anyway, I wanted a blue pair because I have some cute little summer dresses that would go great with them, and I want to be able to wear them with more than just pink...which I do anyway because they feel soooo good. Oh, one more thing, with more straps none of that flap, flap, flap sound. I love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sandals! These were the only pair of shoes I owned during my second year in the Peace Corps in rural Zambia. I wore them all day every day for that year until a hole wore through the heel and one of the straps broke. They are amazing! Comfortable, versatile, durable, lightweight. I'd recommend them for travel and outdoor activities. The only downside I found is that if you're living in wet conditions, the footbed can take a long time to dry out and starts to get a bit smelly. So if you're going to be spending a lot of time in a rainy/wet climate, it might be smart to alternate days you wear them, because they take forever to dry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing! I bought these for a 30 day backpacking trip. I originally bought these as something to wear to the beach or for the showers. I purchased an expensive pair of hiking shoes for the intense walking, but 2 days into the trip I found myself wearing the sandals instead. I wore these shoes everyday, all day for the rest of my trip. Considering the fact that I was walking 10-15 miles everyday and they survived says a lot. I considered throwing them away when i was done with my trip because they were pretty gross, but i threw them in the washing machine with my pack and they came out pretty clean. I still wear them a few times a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Olowahu's I have fairly big, wide feet, I wear a 10 1/2 W tennis shoe and the size 10 fit perfectly. They don't come in half sizes. The size 11's were way too big. I've tried the other styles of sandals by Teva and the Olowahu's are the best. I can't wear sandals that are totally flat that have no arch support and the Olowahu's do have arch support. I have many pairs now after just buying 3 more. My daughter got me started on buying them as she has many pairs also, now I'm hooked! I love the color selection they offer and the sandals are so comfortable. Summer is coming and I spend a lot of time in my sandals. If you want to be stylin' this summer, or any time, I'd definitely recommend the Olowahu's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different Colors, different feel I ordered two pairs - one solid red, and one solid black. I loved everything about the red, except the fit. The straps were stiff, but I assumed they would loosen up over time. Unfortunately, the ones on the right sandal fit my foot at a different spot on my baby toe, and just didn't feel comfortable. However, the solid black ones were broken-in easy feeling from the get go. The straps are made of a different material, and they are softer to begin with. I guess there's the potential of them stretching out too much over time, but I'm extremely happy with the fit and feel of them. Sad to say, I opted to exchange the red ones for a different style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best flip-flops ever! I have owned these Teva sandals for years. I have 5 pairs currently plus extra solid black and brown in reserve as I wear those so frequently that I eventually do wear them out. I'm currently on my second pair of black and brown but it's probably been over 10 years since I bought the first pairs. I love how well they fit my feet. I can wear them all day and they give me nearly the support of running shoes. They look much nicer than regular flip-flops. I just discovered the wedge version, the Mandalyn wedge, and I am liking those as well.

Do they tend to be a little small or big for their size? I see these don't come in half sizes, which is what I usually wear. Do you recommend going up or down in size?

Asked by: Megantronix
We would recommend sizing up in the Olowahu Flip-Flops if you wear a half size. For example, if your US shoe size is an 8.5, a 9 in the sandals would be the best bet.

Really need a 9.5 size. Should I order up or down a half size?

Asked by: Annie
If you are between sizes on a flip flop it is usually a good idea to size up, as the extra length will help protect your toes.
