My 25 yo son with autism cannot zip or undo buttons so here is a stylish pair of pants that he can wear to his day program. Some there did not like the fact he looked like he was wearing his PJs to the program; they can't say that now!!

I bought these for meditation and don't particularly like them for that use. The fabric is about 50% PET and it's a little scratchy to me, not as breathable as a natural fabric or microfiber. While they look great, seem well made, allow for good stretch and movement, I can't really visualize the target audience. For something to do long meditations in I think you are better off with a natural fiber, and if you want something for martial arts, there are many better and sturdier options out there. Maybe some yoga folks would like these, but personally I'd opt for shorts there. (I have to wear pants!)

Great casual/lounge pants

I looked at these pants a few times. As it got cooler I wanted pants that were comfortable around the house, for sleeping and for going to the gym on cold mornings, but that also didn't look like pajamas for going out in. These pants are perfect. Tremendously comfortable, they look good and are the right weight to fill all those things. They don't insulate. The product description is dead on about the use and strength of these pants. I feel, as others do, they may run a bit big (I'm a solid large on most scales, 6'1", 194, about 34" waist) and I got the medium, and it's perfect. For these pants I would definitely try on first.

Comfortable

These pants are advertised as being for everyday wear but I only use them for yoga and only on cooler days. Because there is no snap at the waist and they only stretch a little, some extra effort is required to pull them on. They are supposed to be washed inside out and hung to dry. This isn't a real problem for me since I hang dry my cycling shorts and jerseys. But I think it's worth mentioning for those of you who use the dryer for everything. I gave them four stars because I think they are expensive, even with my 20% coupon.

When stillness is job 1

I found myself looking for a pair of trousers that I could wear to meditation sessions. This meant something that looked reasonably respectable, had a pocket or two, and with which my legs could live comfortablely in during an hour of still sitting. The PrAna Sutra have filled these requirements admirably. In a head-to-head comparison, I took a pair of PrAna and two other similar pants on a 10-day mediation retreat; and by the 10th day it was the PrAna that was the sole one 'on the mat'. It seems that something about both the flexibility of the material, and the low profile of the seams, make the PrAna the best choice I've found for meditation. Also, they come very long in the leg; but my local dry-clean/tailor lady easily altered my two pair. I now use them - near exclusively - for my daily sitting.

Great lounge pants

Makes a nice pair of casual pants, but pretty baggy (esp. in the crotch and rear). Very comfortable with a reliable/durable drawstring. I use them for yoga during cooler months, and for any other occasion when I don't mind looking like I'm in pajamas. The color has an immediate fade with the first wash but stays consistent with additional wear/washing. They age well, or are better as they break in. I'll definitely get more if mine ever wear out.

Well made,perhaps a little expensive

I was looking for a pair of long pants for Yoga and mediation practice. These pants fit the bill perfectly. They have a great fit, wonderful fabric quality, & excellent stitching. Even the drawstring is nice. On some similar pants I worry that the draw string is going to break or the holes the ends thread into are going to tear. Not on these. My main complaint would be that they still seem quite expensive for what you get.

Prana Sutra Pants

Nice pants, but just a little to long. I use them for both a Pilates mat class and a Yoga class three times a week at the YMCA. Very comfortable and allow for free movement.

Not special, not bad

This is a really simple pair of pants. I like that they are light weight and I like the quality texture of the fabric. The drawstring waistband works well and is needed as I bought a size smaller than I ususally buy, based on other website's reviews, but they are still looser/fuller cut than expected. I'd like for the back pocket to have a button or closure. If I were to use these for active wear, I'd suspect items would fall out of the front and back pockets pretty easily. Bottom line, comfy pants, I just don't see the value for the price.

A little pricey but great quality

I bought these for indoor rock climbing and I really like how they perform. Comfortable on the skin and loose enough to provide ample range of motion. They also seem pretty durable and well made.
