Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to century+. This is definitely a non-messy solution to the chafe problem. It worked well for me in rides through a variety of climates up to the metric-century level. At century and above distances, it doesn't provide enough protection to not have issues. I think I would recommend it for distances under 50mi or so. I agree with the other reviewer that since I have it, I will probably use this on the chamois itself and then use something else for the skin to ensure no saddle sores.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again I've always used Chamois Butt'r, but thought I'd give this Cham. Glide a try. I've used it pretty consistently for the past 2 months on rides ranging from 1-4 hours. It's okay, but not as effective as Chamois Butt'r, which I'll be going back to. I do like what it does on chamois, but it really doesn't provide much protection / relief when applied directly to the skin itself. So if you just looking for something to soften up the chammy, I guess it's a safe bet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Possibly the New Go-To I've been using traditional chamois cremes for years, and often default to the single-serve packets for traveling ... this time I happened to see the balm stick next to what I was about to purchase, and thought I'd give it a try. It's easier to carry and get through airport security, and less messy to apply! I've put in some long days on the saddle with this (one at 150mi) and am happy to say this performs/protects just as well as a chamois creme. I think I've found a new default product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for General Use I don't find this product thick enough to be effective for cycling. I use the butter product instead. However, it worked extremely well to keep my wife from getting rashes on her ankles from sock irritation when hiking in the mountains. She tried several other solutions to no avail. I suggested she give it a try and never once in a dozen all-day hikes did she develop the rash. Not for biking, but good for hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more saddle sores for me! I have been using this product for 3 months now and love it! I've tried both assos and chamois butter and they do help, but not as good. 50 mile rides are all fun for me now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Prevents Chafing I used this on a 5 day singletrack bike packing trip and came home with a happy bottom. Just a little bit of chafing/rawness but less than I have had on other multi day bikepacking trips. If you need something that isn't messy, this is your ticket. I had previously used the Body Glide stick on my prior bike trip but that didn't work well at all. This formula is different and it works
