Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where's 3x ? These were vacation only briefs (light weight packing) but once I wore them during the hot summer in Europe I switched to everyday wear at home. Sunny Southern California can get hot too. My ONLY complaint ? What happened to 3x sizing??? I originally purchased these from REI last year and when I tried to buy some more now you only go up to size 2x ! I don't like tight binding underwear and as I am a plus size woman I appreciated the fact that I could get these practical, comfortable, well fitting underwear from REI. Please contact the manufacturer on behalf of your customers and tell them to bring back 3x . They are the best moisture wicking underwear I have found.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit too much coverage I pressure these work well for keeping cool and wicking moisture. Unfortunately, while I usually prefer briefs in my everyday underwear, the coverage on these was just too much. They came up way too high in the back -- would have show under most things I'd wear. I am definitely plus size, but mostly have a boxy (wide) waist, not so big in the tush and hips. The 2x (which corresponds to the size 8 I wear in Jockey) was just too much underwear. My mother -- who is more ample in the hips and rear -- tried them on and also found them too big. Perhaps another style would work. It would be nice if they carried the plus sizes in the store so we could try them on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally dry in under 6 hours! I bought these on sale along with an REI brand of similar style which was also on sale. I wanted a true comparison of both before I decided on which brand I wanted to invest into. Both were comfortable, but the Ex Officio briefs dried more quickly (though REI brand dried within a reasonable amount of time). Though more expensive, I think knowing that these dry more quickly is what will bring me back to Ex Officio. Comfortable, quick drying and certainly worth it for those of us who travel a lot, camp or engage in any activity where being a minimalist really matters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic!!! I purchased two pairs to take on a trip to Africa where I was not going to be able to "do laundry," yet I couldn't very well carry two weeks worth of fresh underwear. By sink rinsing, I was able to have clean underwear each day. As they dried so quickly even one pair might have been fine, but that takes light packing to the extreme! I recommend a multi-purpose soap like Dr. Bronner's for one's travel bag. These underwear don't take up much room, are super comfortable, wash up nicely, and dry quickly. What more could you ask for?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hiking, biking, and working. These are my 10th pair of ExOfficio underwear. I love them all. I have them in a variety of styles and colors. I find the briefs to be the most comfortable on my plus size frame. I am happy that they come in extended sizes and I am always happy to grab a new color. I have worn these on short and long day hikes, multi-day backpacks, and even wear them to work. I work long, hot, and very humid days in a greenhouse and they keep me cool and dry. I have worn them biking but my longest bike ride to date has only been two hours so I can't speak for longer rides. I like owning multiple pairs but when I can only take a couple of pairs on a backpack I find them easy to wash and dry on the trail. They are well worth the price and some of my older pairs have lasted me at least four years of regular use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Product! I bought 2 pairs for hiking and backpacking because I like to travel light and don't want to fuss over stuff like laundry (!) These are much more comfortable than ordinary nylon and lighter in weight than clammy cotton. They fit well, wash well, dry fast. I'm ordering 2 more pairs. Can't think of anything that's "not so great" about them. Would love to see them in more color choices, but other than that, I'm very happy with these and will probably wear them to rags on the trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best! I bought 5 pairs of the ExOfficio and 5 pairs or a competitor's comparable product before leaving for a 1 year stint in China. After 5 months of alternating wear and washing in a Chinese washer, the results are telling. As the photo shows, the ExOfficio underwear has held together beautifully, the competitor's...not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from expensive, but actually worth it!!!! Bought two pair for golfing and traveling. I was looking for a pair of comfortable wicking panties. I wanted them "travel worthy" - to wash and dry out quickly. The panties are sturdy, fit well (if you buy one size up), and these fit the bill. I liked my two pair so much I bought three more pair! I am an active woman! These are nice panties (expensive) but they work well and seem to hold up well.

I'm 5'3", 118 lbs, 26.5-27"" waist, ~36" hip. I tend to wear XS or 2 in pants of most brands. Should I get the XS or S in these briefs? Thank you!

Asked by: TNCA
We recommend you purchase the XS size.
