Nice brush. Use it to clean base.
I use brush to clean base before wax. Since I use the citrus base cleaner with the brush, don't feel should also use after scraping. Brush is nice size and happy with it. Was afraid, after watching YouTube how to videos, that it wasn't going to be big enough. The vids have the professional huge brushes. This brush is not tiny. Works bigger than size.
Good brush for hot waxing skis
If you only have one brush for hot waxing XC skis, this would be it.
If You Can Only Buy One
This brush is good enough as the only brushing after scraping the wax off my cross country skis. Sure, I'd rather have several staged brushes of different materials, but this all-in-one was in my budget and I was very happy with my wax jobs XC skiing all last winter.
Solid quality brush
See my review for Swix universal temp wax and you'll see where I'm coming from. If you wax your skis, which I recommend because it's relaxing. You'll need a brush. Its a bit pricey because it's Swix, but I expect it to last a long time.
