Good, Affordable Wheel for a big guy
Good, affordable wheel. I am 205 lbs and the wheel stands up to the heaviness of a bulkier frame.
Back on the trail again
We had excellent customer service at REI. We had a bent rim which we brought in for repair. The associate pointed us to a Bew rim witch was cheaper than repairing our old one. We installed it on our bike and are now back on the trail!! We feel this rim was an excellent value. Thanks REI.
Ok but some concern with strength
Nice wheel except there is manufacturing defect, a lateral crack where the ends join opposite the air hole. So only the sides secure the ends. The mechanic in the store said it’s all good, so far it’s fine.
Member Benefit 2016 plus American Ingenuity
Purchased to replace front wheel of mountain bike. Fit exactly as planned with quick release hub as a bonus. No instructions or paperwork included, but I figured it out by using my noodle.
Basic
The finish could be better. The axl has some plastic. I used my old axl and ticked of a bur with a file.
Good solid wheel
Nothing special about it but it's s good wheel at this price, easy to install and comes with skewer
Nice inexpensive wheel for casual biking.
This was a great replacement for a trashed wheel; seems good value for the money.
