Great purchase
These are great and super easy to put on and use. They are so easy to use they should come with instructions. I know that doesn't make sense. I spent the better part of 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get the tips of my poles off to get these on. Turns out you DONT. Just use some force and put them right over the tips. User error I know but a little instruction could help for slow guy like me.

WORKS FOR WHAT IT WAS MADE FOR
I have used LEKI poles for several years and am a happy customer as is my husband. During winter months and snowshoeing we have always used the leki snow basket, they do not work great in deep powder in the backcountry, they will sink pretty far (sometimes 10-12 inches) depending on conditions, but for the most part they do what they were intended to do. Are they perfect, no, but considering it is the only basket offered for thier poles, it is usable. This winter I am going to try some Black Diamond baskets and see if I can adapt them to the LEKI poles. They are larger and have a bit more surface area. As for the taking them off issue, I will agree with the other reviewer, it is difficult, but over the last two years, we have just left ours on all summer.

Easy baskets compatible with Leki trekking poles!

I got these baskets to use with my Leki Trekking poles for snowshoeing. They are easy to put on and switch out for the normal baskets. The increased surface area improves ease of use in snow and for snow camping. The baskets don’t interfere with my ability to use my trekking poles to set up my trekking pole tent while snow camping.

Terrific option for snow

I have a pair of off-brand poles that only came with: the original carbide tips, walking rubber tips and mud/dirt baskets. These Leki Snowbaskets threaded right onto them securely. And turned my 3 season poles into 4 season ones. They aren’t the nicest poles or the lightest but I can save up for nicer poles later now knowing that I have a set-up good for all year round until I can afford a nice carbon fiber/cork handled pair.. they kept the poles aloft in the deep snow so they definitely performed their intended function.

Easy and Inexpensive

I'm not sure why the other reviewers said that these baskets are hard to put on/take off. Leki poles are threaded for the baskets. Give them a pull to get them to the threads, spin them off. Reverse to put them on. Relatively cheap way to use your trekking poles for light snowshoeing.

A Durable Replacement/Upgrade

I got these to replace the snow baskets that came with some poles I purchased from Costco. The ones that came with the poles broke on my first outing, but these have held up well for the entire season. They fit perfectly even though my poles are a different brand.

What's not to like

These do exactly what they're intended for. I bought a pair for for TUBBS poles and another pair for an expensive pair of poles from Walmart for my sister. Works great on both. They fit good and tight, just the way you want them to. I never take them off, because I have separate poles for winter and summer.

hiking poles turned snow poles

bought these for a trip to the San Bernadino mountains to do some summit hiking after a Southern California 20" snow storm. Along with my yaktrack pros navigating the slush and snow pack was a breeze. great little add on to help reduce deep penetration into the snow.

new life to old friends

Bought these to replace the baskets on my Leki Extremes adjustable ski poles that I bought back in 1985. The old baskets were just starting to crack after years of alternating use and storage. Snapped on and good to go with my old friends for another couple of decades
