Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good city tire I'm a daily bicycle commuter in Seattle. These came on the bike I purchased from REI. These are perfect commuting tires. Because they're 1.95, they have a lot of volume and they're wide, so they're perfect for riding on bad pavement or on/around the trolly tracks, or over curbs and potholes on my commute. I haven't had any problems with traction in the Seattle rain, and I've had exactly 0 flats and problems. Since I commute in the dark during the winter, I like the reflective sidewall. Because these are big heavy tires, I wouldn't want to use them on fast or really long rides (think centuries), but they're perfect for commuting or just knocking around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and city performance For [$], I'm gonna stock up on these now that I've put them through their paces in dry and wet Houston weather on pavement, dirt trails and gravel!Much smoother rolling and with less rolling resistance than my stock knobby MTB tires (of course), these are far more appropriate for city and light trail use. I can always slap on my MTB tires for real dirt trails.I'm getting more maintainable speed with less effort, and more confidently handling slick/wet roads. The graphic on the sidewall is a little cheesy, but who's gonna see them when you're rolling? :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonably priced, easy to install Replacement tires for a commuter bike. The tread works well on pavement, mildly rough surfaces and wet pavement. I have not had these long so I don't know how they will wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome city commuter! Awesome fast tire. I agree with the other reviewer who said the sidewall graphic was ugly. Looks like a pair of Spiderman Underoos. C'mon Kenda--make a gumwall version!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mediocre. Heavy utility tires. Rubber is lower quality. Roll is adequate. Tires to take to the corner store but not much else. Unremarkable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made tire Our son loves these tires. They are well made, reasonably priced. He rides his bike both to school and work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value New tires were part of my tune up. They are hybrid tires, road and trails, and fit my bike well.
