Gear Capacity (L) 1.31 liter
Gear Capacity (cu. in.) 80 cubic inches
Dimensions 8 x 5 x 3.8 inches
Weight 4.5 ounces
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks can be deceiving From the picture, one would think that it is possible to take advantage of the entire, elongated shape of this bag when attached to the back of a saddle. Not so. When mounted to the back of my Cannondale F3 mountain bike, there's simply not enough room from the seat stem to allow the bag to fully open. As a result, the longer part ends up getting smooshed into the seat stem, rendering those few inches impossible for storage use. All I managed to fit into mine was a spare tube, an Alien II multi tool and my keys. for [$], I was hoping to be able to use all the available real estate it offers. Other than that, easy to mount and the rear utility band is useful for mounting a bike light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality but watch the fit This is a well-constructed, rugged bag with plenty of room for all the repair stuff you want on a daily commute. But I found this bag wouldn't work under just any saddle - my Brooks women's saddle was too short. My WTB saddle had longer rails and it worked okay (with a bit of a squeeze). If you don't have a lot of seat tube exposed, that could cause a fit problem as well. The main reason I liked the bag was the positioning of the light strap on the back. This strap is plenty stiff and, with some adustments, my rear blinky light was actually facing the traffic behind me instead of pointing down toward my rear wheel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I should have read the reviews first Very disappointed. The plastic mount from the bag to my seat broke within 2 miles of riding on the first day of use. I had just ridden up a curb onto a trail and heard a "snap". My wife was behind me and told me to pull over. It snapped the plastic piece clean off the mount. Would have really sucked if I had been out in the middle of nowhere and had to carry my stuff home. Read the reviews today and it seems like this is a common occurrence. Will replace with a bad w/o a plastic mount. REI should not carry this bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic broke off, can't use it anymore Bought this thing about 18 months ago for when I go mountain biking to store a patch kit, basic tools, and pump, wallet, and snacks. Worked great for the first few months, including a 600 miler trip from San francisco to Orange county. Then a few months ago the zipper tip broke off so it made the zipper hard to move. Two weeks ago I went mountain biking and after going off a jump the plastic on top of the pouch broke off. Now i can not use it anymore which im a little bummed out about. I guess i'll have to go with the camelbak until I buy a new seat pouch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I purchased this for my Road bike. It can hold the essentials: two tubes, tire levers, some allen tools, keys, money and ID. The quick connect is easy to use. My only complaint is that I wish the quckconnect tab that sits under the saddle would be expandable or longer. The issue is that my seat post height for my ridding is just all enough where the vellcro can wrap around it. If the tab was longer, I could get a better fit. But I have not have any problem with it. It does lighten the load in my jersey pockets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design flaw I bought two of these, foole me twice shame on me. It is a very nice bag, but the clip that secures it to the seat is plastic. Twice, after hitting unexpected pot-holes at 20-23 mph, the clip broke leaving my saddle bag draggin on my wheel when I was 30 miles from home. If they made this more sturdy, this would be ideal given its robust size and sturdy (other) materials. If you don't hit hard bumps this might work well for you. I stored Blackburn CO2 pump, extra cartidge, tube, tire levers, patch kit, mini tire gauge, a little cash, and my cell phone in this with little difficulty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great (not so little) bag This bag holds a tool kit and lightweight shirt with plenty of extra room. The strap on the back holds my rear light straight back rather than down towards the ground. The pump straps on the bottom will fit my Topeak pump, though I mount it on the frame since it came with a mounting bracket. Zippers work fine after many miles, all in all a great little saddle bag. It would get a 5, but its difficult to get out from under the seat on my Novara Corsa, could just be the type of saddle I have (factory Novara type). I usually leave my saddle bag attached so its no big deal for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from And REI sells these why? Wow what a piece of junk. I've only had this a short time and like many of the other reviewers I hit a bump and it was like my back brake locked up. My only saving grace is that I was not cornering at the time because I was moving at quite a clip and the breaking would have caused a very painful slide. Stay way from these bags they are not only poor quality bur dangerous.
