Amazing Floor Cleaner!
I’m amazed at how much dirt this product picked up from my floors. My floors were cleaned 3 days earlier with Fabuloso & I decided to try using Dr Bronners unscented (baby) Castile soap on the floors as an experiment. (It’s what I use to wash the dogs). OMG!! The water kept getting dirtier and dirtier! I couldn’t believe my eyes. This is what I’ll be using on the floors from now on!
Be aware: Environmental Impacts
According to LNT guidelines, and everyone else, don't use this soap, or any other soap (organic or not) within 200 feet of lakes, streams, springs, what have you. This soap decomposes in soil, so that means don't lather up and jump into the lake. That's like throwing some Tide Laundry soap in the lake - its not good for the fishies. What I like to do: fill up a camelback or couple of water jugs, then get away from the water source (also, don't go towards your campsite in bear territory). Wet your hair, lather up, then dump all the water you please to rinse out this soap. It goes into the soil with minimal harmful impacts. Hope this helps.
Great Recognize Great
Such a great versatile product! Great smell, feels effective and very on-board with the support of psychedelics! Only issue was shipping, the top was cracked upon arrival but minor inconvenience!
Dr Bonner's
I love the product it did what my Doctor wanted it to do for me health wise.
Awesome product!
When I first bought Castile soap, it was because I was looking for my organic bar soaps that I used to love using (but would still irritate me in some areas) and came across a bottle with lots of letters and rose scent! After reading and trusting in what sounds like a faith based family product I can happily say that I will never go back to any other type of soap. I love that I can use this as a body soap for both me and my dog. It saves me time and money, especially because I have a skin sensitivity and Castile Soap is the only soap I can use that will not irritate me. I wish it was maybe a little thicker but with a washcloth it works just fine. Also this product will last me a lot longer than regular body wash or any other product has due to the consistency and amazing ingredients👍 Thank you
The only soap I bring!
Dr. Bronners soap packs more uses per ounce than anything out there. I've used it for washing myself, washing dishes and even brushing my teeth (but just a drop!). The peppermint scent is by far the best, especially if you plan to use it on those chompers. Lavender breath just doesn't seem right. Tip: Try putting it in a dropper bottle. On a three day backpacking trip, for example, I can bring only 0.5oz worth and it's more than enough.
Great soap but has limits
This soap works well, as others have commented. My two cents: if you use for camping/backpacking in small portions (say a squeeze bottle, half ounce), the nozzle/thing that drips the soap may dry out and become clogged. Not a big deal, grab a small stick, stem of grass, etc and clear out the blockage. Just be aware of this and don't squeeze your bottle too hard if the soap does not flow, you will burst the tube. The soap "block" is still water soluble so use it when it comes out like a worm., so use it to clean as normal. Just a heads up. I use this for backpacking and like it. Happy trails!
Lovely feminine scent
I was scared buying this scent because I heard it smelled medicinal and was so strong that it was sickening. I took the plunge and tried it myself, and found out it has such a lovely aromatic scent. I truly believe washing my face with this helped me get over my cold because it cleared my sinuses gently. Showering with it is even more amazing because it fills the bathroom up with the floral scent. If I didn't have a high efficiency washing machine I would use it to wash clothes too, since it has such a great smell. As for the soap itself, I love Dr Bronner's soaps! They're natural, they don't leave a film on you, and they're like aromatherapy.
Peppermint
I love this for feet and hair. The sensation on my scalp i find helps with circulation and stimulation. On my feet mixed with my scrub it smells amazing. While feeling soothing at the same time. I love it.
prevents mildew
For decades I have diluted this 50% with water and used it on a washcloth to take a shower and as a shampoo. The washcloth never mildews. I just don't rinse it after the shower and I instead fold it and hang it up. The washcloth wears out after 5 or so years and I replace it. I tried the other flavors and they all mildew, but not the lavender. This diluted spray was also the only thing that would prevent mildew under my mattress on a sailboat. Having been in high humidity, I recently used the diluted spray on some mildew in 4 different places in my motorhome and the mildew hasn't come back. This time, I added a small amount of bleach to it.
