As soon as I seen the Summit Fastpack Core-Tex boots I had to have them. Well constructed, lightweight, great support, comfortable and well cushion. Outstanding waterproofing awesome soles. Great for all outdoor activities.lots of compliments on them.
It’s not for wide feet and it doesn’t have any arch support
The grip seems very good so far and they are indeed comfortable, if not one of the most comfortable I have owned so far. The ankle support is not its strong point but good enough for me since I already have strong ankles. I am not saying it is bad, it is still pretty nice considering the light/flexible material. Seems breathable enough even if not advertised for it and the water resistance seems good but I will test it better later on. Coming to the But... part, do not worry, nothing bad, just consider a little detail regarding the size. This material tends to make a tight fit on your foot, so if you use thick winter socks, I would suggest one or at least half size larger, so that you will not squeeze your feet into oblivion. One size larger will work well with both thin/normal socks and thick/winter socks. Consider the shape of your feet, for example, I have wide sole and high instep. I got one size larger. Soon I will test the shoes on the dry rocky terrain of Cyprus and later on the hopefully snowy and or wet mountains of Switzerland. I might write a second review after that as an update on what I have previously stated.
I have a lot of hiking shoes and boots. But this one I got is the most comfortable I ever owned. It is also very breathable. It can stand long hours of standing or walking.
Great feel and comfort. Great ankle support as well. Very nice comfort when walking g
