Well Worth A Try - You'll Like It!

Finally tried this. Not Pizzeria style pizza, (and was not expecting it to be) but it's still pretty darn good. As with most of these meals, I use a little bit less water than called for and the results were just fine. The chunks of crust are the same buttermilk biscuit chunks from their Biscuits and Gravy, and they remained slightly crunchy in the middle, which I liked. Everything else rehydrated just fine. Tastes really good, excellent texture, thoroughly enjoyed it. Am always amused by the 'Two Servings'; there hasn't been a 'two servings' freeze-dried meal yet that I couldn't finish quite comfortably, and this one was no exception. So - Highly recommend.

Cheesy / Pizza / Goodness

This was not just a camp meal. This was a divine encounter with the great fathers of pizza: John Murphy, Luigi the Pie-Slinger, and every unsung hero who ever tossed dough into the heavens. Around a crackling campfire, I tore into this Mountain House Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bowl, and for one glorious moment, I transcended the mortal plane. The explosion of pizza flavor made me feel like a Ninja Turtle who just got promoted to sensei. The smoky night air, the glow of the fire, and molten cheesy goodness came together in perfect cosmic harmony. It wasn’t just dinner—it was destiny. This is going on my permanent pack list. If you don’t bring one, I honestly question your life choices.

Pizza Pouch!

Tastes like Pepperoni but could do with a little more salt and zing/heat, still, amazing to have in a pouch out field!

Ingredients NEED to be improved on

full of toxic ingredients: palm oil [with mono and diglycerides], cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate oleoresin of paprika, sodium nitrate, butylated hydroxyanisole, butylated hydroxytoluene, citric acid) calcium chloride, I would say THESE are in the category of horrid additives. TRY TO BE MORE PURE, keep it simple.

Pepperoni Pizza

When I saw this new entree I had to order a couple to try. Quick and easy to make. The texture of the crust bits, pepperoni and cheese was spot on! Being a pepperoni pizza fan I liked this meal a lot! Great pizza sauce flavor. Next time I will add a couple of jalapeño slices cause that’s the way I order my pizza!

Big Let Down

Meh...I was really excited for this. It was just ok. I feel like this is more of a spread than something you eat solo. Way to much sauce. Pepperoni is small and sparse. Because it is mainly sauce I couldn't finish it. I can tell you my kids would not eat this. Not close to pizza or a take on pizza.

Best MH ever!!!

Just ate one of these this weekend while elk hunting in the backcountry. This is by far my favorite one so far!! I’ve always enjoyed the spaghetti but this one is even better!! Please don’t ever stop making this and if you plan on it, let me know ahead of time so I can get a pile stashed back!!!!

One timer

It’s honestly really good for half of 1 pouch. Then gets old very fast. I attempted to share the remaining pouch and we still had some leftover. I sold my other pouches to my buddy’s who missed the trip. Definitely will not but again. It tastes like the mini Red Baron pizzas but in a soup

Pepperoni Pizza Meal

Saw this on a vloggers channel, bought it and tried half of the 2 serving pouch. OMG, it is a winner, winner chicken dinner. Seriously what eating a pepperoni pizza in pieces. This will definitely be a staple in my food bag when on the trails. 2010 AT thru hiker approved.
