I got these to replace some Rossignol X5 boots that had become too narrow for my feet (your feet don't stop changing in high school, folks). I tried larger Rossi's, but they were all either too narrow in the toe box or too large overall. These Salomons seemed to fit just right, with enough adjustment range on the laces to go with either a midweight ski sock or a heavy mountaineering sock, plus a thin synthetic liner. I took them out for the first time today and had toasty warm feet at 10F skiing with my kids and moving on the slower side. And I have Raynaud's, so if they can keep my feet warm they can probably work for anyone!
Very comfortable. Easy off and on boot design. Adequate warmth and dry. Lace system always a plus on Salomon gear.
