Great Snowboard Bag for Any Type of Travel
This is a great board bag that travels well! It has lots of room for both boards and equipment, and the construction is top-notch. There is a good amount of padding to keep your board protected. The interior pocket and pouch adds organization to your pack. Durable zippers that run smooth. One of the best features is the removable shoulder strap, which is not only very versatile and comfortable, but can be stowed in the side exterior pocket when checking the bag at an airport. I recently used it for a day trip to my local resort, and allowed me to pack everything in the one bag and easily stow and access it in my SUV. This is a great bag for anyone who rides, and can make your travel a lot easier!
Does the job
This bag is great! I can store my boots and helmet in the bag. It has the right amount of storage nets inside, though I wish they were both zippered to keep things from falling out. The inside material is water resistant and perfect to just wipe off any debris from the board. The outer material seems very sturdy and thick to prevent getting easily damaged. The shoulder strap is helpful because it frees my hands to carry other things. I haven't had any issues with the zippers getting stuck, which has been an issue with other gear. Overall the quality of the bag is perfect.
More than just a snowboard!
Although the bag is designed for a youth snowboard, it perfectly fits two pairs of kids' skis, poles, and boots with room for other soft gear. The quality of materials and construction is excellent for the category of soft-sided snow gear bags. Seams are reinforced where appropriate and the internal straps are designed well to keep the board or skis secure. Padding is minimal and instead relies on using clothes or other soft gear to prevent damage to equipment during transportation. The volume of the bag seems appropriate for this design. Fully loaded, the bag is about as heavy as you would want for only using a shoulder strap. We like the blue color for standing out against all the black bags and the slight contrast with the straps and zipper pulls looks good. The weight of the fabric is heavy enough to resist abrasions, tears, or punctures while the design is sleek enough to prevent the bag getting snagged. There are two internal pockets that can be used for small and narrow items (e.g., passes, hand warmers, or socks) and a single external pocket that may be useful for papers or documents. Overall, we're very happy with the bag and look forward to using it for flying to the mountains.
