The optics/lens are superior! I have the rose/storm yellow, and both work well in varying downhill conditions. I like having options for varying light; and a wide field of vision. I also like Dakine's use of recycled/plant-based materail. The strap, fully extended, barely fits my (med) Preti helmet. To complicate matters, the buckle is too bulky for my rear snap. Googles down fit ok, but pulled up pop right off the helmet. Changing lens is not easy, especially with colder (and older) fingers. Take care when handling, they are scratch easily.
