but probably won't have to for a long time. Good quality, thoughtful design. I'm happy
Solid tent with easy setup. My only complaint is the vestibule doors how they unzip, and how to secure them when you roll them up. It’s a bit of a pain when trying to do it from inside the tent especially on those rainy days. I always seemed to get water in the tent. It takes both hands to roll the door up and secure it. You pretty much have to get out of the tent to do this.
The stuff sack is perfect for any bikepacing trip! This tent is the perfect size for camping with 3 people. The short poles fit great on bike handlebars.
I purchased this tent for bike packing and for motorcycle touring; therefore, this review is more specific to those activities. I purchased this tent because I wanted a two (2) person tent with some extra room for sheltering riding gear and donning riding gear in the rain. Due to the pac-ability and smaller pole length, when the poles are broken down, this tent fits into saddle bags or can be strapped to racks on your bike or motorcycle. It has a unique stuff sack that acts as a dry bag with attachment points for your frame or rack. This tent is fantastic for two (2) people with some extra room to move around and to keep gear out of the elements. No issues with leaking and the tent appears to be durable for extended use. The size to weight ratio is amazing for the durability of the tent. I have not had issues with the poles bending and collapsing due to high winds; however, if I am expecting inclement weather I will steak it down with guy lines, which increases the stability. (I would not use the tent for long distance two (2) person backpacking due to the extra weight unless one or both of you are a larger individuals, then the extra space might well be worth the weight. The durability to weight ratio is excellent. It would be a tight fit for three (3) adults but would work well for two (2) adults and a child.) Not inexpensive; however, I feel is was worth the cost.
