This is the first Supernova Rise I have tried, so I cannot comment on the changes between the GTX version and the standard. That being said, the GTX fits true to size, with a gussetted tongue for a secure midfoot wrap. Took this out in the snow and slush in northern Ohio over the last few weeks and it has performed flawlessly. The midsole isn’t the bounciest or softest, but it cushions impact well and has a subtle bounce to it. The outsole traction is excellent on snow, slush, and rain. The GTX layer in the upper has kept my feet warm and dry. Perfect for daily miles in the Midwest winter. I only have 50 or so miles on it, but so far durability seems on point. I’d expect to get several hundred miles or so, which is standard for a daily trainer. Good job Adidas!
fits well keeps the feet warm and dry, 30 miles in so far, started firm but breaking in well
I wear wide shoes and sometimes I can go up a half size to fit regular width shoes. That didn’t work for these. I feel like the width and volume of the toe box are low. I also felt like the cushioning wasn’t enough. The goretex is great though and the upper is comfortable. It’s probably a great shoe if it fits your foot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent running shoe. Keeps your feet dry when running long distance in wet conditions. The soles are also fit for running in the woods. Reflective elements in shoe and laces are a plus during autumn and winter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoe for rain/snow running, great GTX protection, cushioning, and looks good. Will be using a lot during Fall/Winter in Minnesota.
They feel great when running! Just as advertised in that they are not too much cushion. Great look as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Study and light + waterproof gives this one the full-duty package badge. This shoe does anything well.
These are just as comfortable as the regular supernovas. I wish they had more colors available though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable and hard wearing. Nice material. Son loves them
Very comfortable, inner comforts is like walking on pillows. Great spring for long walks
