adidas  Supernova Rise 3 Road-Running Shoes - Men's

This is my first pair of Supernova Rise 3 after owning a pair of Evo SL. I love both. My first imoressions have been that the major difference is the Supernova Rise 3’s have a more traditional tongue and upper and outsole. In exchange for a barely noticeable amount of weight increase, the shoes provide a highly similar cushioned, energetic ride but a bit better traction. Holistically, on your feet they feel more like trainers did before the advent of high-stack trainers, while providing the cushioning and energy return I’ve grown to live from Adidas.

Great shoe just wish there were more colors, for example an all white with black stripes or all black with white stripes. If there were more colors i would get more

I’ve been running exclusively in adizero road shoes for years, so I never took a hard look at other adidas Running ranges/series. I was intrigued with this collab and gave the Supernova a shot. I think the Supernova Rise 3 is superb. This shoe is choice for running and walking. Dreamstrike Plus is comfy yet stable. This is one you can take out to stay out thanks to the generous padding and decent weight. Well done to SFTM for respecting what this shoe is while adding Run Song specific touches. I’m sold on the model and the idea of this type of collab on non-adizero runners.

Felt a tiny bit tighter, had to switch to thinner socks. Great otherwise

Pretty disappointed… seemed like a great shoe but I received a defective pair. The left shoe at the bottom of the tongue inside the shoe has extra material and doesn’t sit flush so it digs into my foot. I was really looking forward to replacing my supernova rise 2 with these. I may just look elsewhere as much as I love adidas I’ve been having bad luck ordering from them online. Had to send back a black and white evo sl a couple of months ago because the tongue came apart after just one use. Do better adidas….

I wish the upper wasn’t so stiff and constricting, it hurts to wear for long periods of time. It looks nice and sleek, midsole great for walking but just aight for running.

It is a beautiful shoe and incredibly well built. But the cradle created to stabilize the platform, now that the support rods are gone, can make this model a bit painful if you had a bit wider feet. I can't go past 10 km in these if I want to walk within the next hour after the run. I am still gonna use them casually, since my feet don't splay as much while walking. It is too bad since I was excited about this one, coming from a great experience with the previous model.

Comfort for everyday wear and for daily running outside

I tried the shoe out and I tried to love the shoe. It was fantastic from recovery runs and even through sprint workouts it impressed me. But the main reason why I returned it was because of the material of the upper, I could not enjoy the shoe. For the next model please make a better upper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an old man and my legs can't take the pounding of running on asphalt and concrete like they used to. These shoe's technology and ample cushioning save my legs from wear and tear and the lightstrike on the forefoot helps me keep going. Not sure how that happens but I definitely feel less fatigue while running in these shoes which is a huge plus.
