Patagonia  R1 Air Full-Zip Hoody - Women's

This is warm, breathable, nice looking fleece. This is kind of warmer than other fleeces we have. But she doesn't like being cold and doesn't sweat much so this works good for her. Only complain she always have on R1 air is that it have no zipper cover inside that let the freezing cold zipper keeps touching her neck and face. She can't fully close it without having a buff. I personally think it's a major flaw for winter fleece but she isn't picky and just using it because she mostly use a buff or balaclava in freezing temperature anyways.

Bought the hoodie for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. I will say that I ordered the hoodie online and had it shipped to the store because the shopping experience at my local REI absolutely sucks. I'm sick of being followed and stalked by REI employees who follow me around the store and pretend to move items on the shelf around while I'm shopping. It happens every single time. I go into REI alone but never happens when I'm with my wife together. Maybe use the freaking cameras instead of following people around the store. Mind you, I'm in the store almost three times a week and I almost never leave without buying anything. I wanted to support my local REI but I won't and I'll just keep buying stuff online.

I ordered a size down based on reviews that said this jacket runs large. It does not. I will be returning since it is a little snug, and reordering my size. Otherwise, it seems to be a great jacket.

Soft and warm hoody. Chest pocket too small for iPhone max, but it fits in inside pockets and zipped pockets. I'm a size 10/12 and got the large for a more relaxed fit. The white is a nice change from all my dark jackets and will be perfect for my travel wardrobe- cold planes, theaters and restaurants.

Perfect. Layering for Scotland trip. Not so bulky that my jackets fit great.

I love this technical jacket that can also be worn casually. It's so warm, cozy and regulates my body temperature better than any other fleece I have tried in the past regardless of wether I'm at home or on the trails. I bought the r1 air jacket without the hood several months ago and am now adding the hooded version. This year's redesign with the bigger chest pocket and loser fit works great for me. I can wear a small but prefer a medium for comfort.

Love the longer length and the fit is great. I got a large and it’s a little loose. I’m 5’7” and 145lbs. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it out hiking yet.

This hoody is stylish, form fitting (but not tight), and light weight. It's the perfect hoody for trips to the gym and chilly morning and evening pickleball starts.

Bought this in the salmon color, size XL. I typically buy Large but I wanted more room for layering and length. Great fit and quality.

Love this jacket! I hesitated to purchase because of the price but went for it when I got my member 20% off coupon and I’m glad I did. The fit is great! Typically I have to size up to medium in Patagonia to get a good fit across the shoulders but then it’s too big, roomy and bulky in the body so wind goes right up. Not the case with this jacket, the small fits great, room in the shoulders and not huge everywhere else. It’s light weight, fits easily in backpack and under other layers. It moves with you and is warm. Great for the morning part of hikes when it’s cool.
