Horrible, flavorless and not worth eating.

I generally like hot and spicy food but this dish completely misses the mark as it's just too spicy and overall bad. We managed to finish the meal by using a ton of our lunch crackers but it gave everyone indigestion. No flavor other than the overly spicy chili powder that completely overwhelms the dish. The beans were not even thoroughly cooked and the cornbread was flavorless.

Really spicy!

I liked it generally, but it is really spicy! The package gives a spice rate of 1 out of 5, but to me it seemed like a 4. I split the meal into 2 and added a ton of instant mashed potatoes to cut the spice, and this took away from the cornbread flavor.

Smells like grass clippings. Tastes like cayenne flavored grass clippings with corn bread. The corn bread tastes great.

I was wrong

Instantly I thought I was gonna hate it due to the cornbread becoming too “mushy”, but it was beyond delicious and I know I can get these with no fear in the future. This meal filled me up and packed me with protein for my hike.

Favorite backpacking meal so far

Had this on the first night of a 3 day/2 night, ~46 mile fastpacking trip. The chili tastes fresher than other backpacking fare, and the cornbread made for a fun flavor/texture difference. Already bought more!

Most delicious dehydrated food brand I’ve tried

This is such a fun backpacking meal that is tasty, and it comes with a little bit of cornbread that heats up in the bag with your chili! Very decadent camping food for an affordable price!

Best Vegeterian Backpacking Meal

I’m vegetarian and this is the only brand for backpacking meals I am actually so excited to scarf down after the many miles on trail. Tastes great and still makes you feel good after!

A Must Try!!!

OMG! The First time I tried this, I made my friend dislike your dehydrated meal. Lol. The corn bread is so fresh tasting and the flavor to this meal is amazing!

Love this one!

Super filling and amazing vegetarian chili. The sweet green Chile cornbread on top balanced the flavors perfectly. I like mine mixed in completely.

Beans Beans Music Fruit

Great bean variety and delicious corn bread. Could've used some additional spice - cilantro - and the zucchini didn't come through.
