GoPro telescopic extension pole
Unfortunately, this GoPro telescopic extension pole has a very costly design flaw. The base of this pole is threaded for attachment, It also has an adjustable lanyard.. however when this extension pole is fully extended with the weight of the camera, any sway back-and-forth of the pole will result in the base of the pole while using the threaded feature to separate, therefore causing the loss and or damage to your camera . Recently, while on a canoe float the base of this extension pole, while threaded to the canoe, Snap and separated, therefore losing my camera to the depth of the water, leaving only the base of the pole with the lanyard attached to my canoe.. use extreme caution while using the threaded feature of this extension pole. The cap on the end which is threaded is only attached to the pole with minimal material, extremely weak, fragile and has lead to the costly loss of my brand new hero 13. And the telescopic extension pole. !
