Simple, Solid
I backpack super minimalist but I dont skimp on a couple tools. A military folder shovel is too heavy and a camp trowel is a joke. The Nomad Mini is serious enough to level a camp site and dig a proper latrine, while being a reasonable weight. Im surprised it is sold with a blunt edge but i won't ding it because i prefer to sharpen it myself. Sweet paint job, wont spend much time looking for it. Well done.

Sure these shovels are a bit pricey but buy once / cry once! It's got a super solid build, it's great looking, can be used as a hoe, and it's a perfect size when folded that I just keep in the truck under my seat. Was so impressed I also bought a Stealth, which also folds down to nothing, so Im covered with tools that support me in all different types of weather and environments. Buy it!
Great Compact Design!
I'm not driving super technical trails or the like, and my truck is a mid-size with limited rack space, so the Compact Delta is the perfect match. It's super-solid and, as the name suggests, folds down to a very compact size. It's perfect for me and my needs out in the backcountry.
Small but sturdy
Lightweight, compact yet very sturdy. I purchased this shovel for when I go metal detecting, but also to mount on my 4Runner when going off-road for emergency purposes. Looks good and feels well made. I especially like the 90 degree adjustments.
Looks like the perfect solution
We just bought out dmos shovel and haven't needed to use it yet but it fits the bill for us. Clearly rugged yet compact enough to fit under the rear seat of my F350 crew cab. We boondock and travel to remote areas so this is a perfect solution.
Best Darn Shovel
This Compact Delta has far exceeded my expectations. It is about the size of a traditional E-Tool but so much better. I bought it as a just in case tool but have used it a bunch digging toilet holes and fire pits. It rocks. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect size shovel for camping/overlanding in my humble opinion. Mounts just about anywhere and is solid as they come. worth the price point.

used as a pulaski, shovel, pick & packs easy in car or toolbox. Very useful tool - bought one for each rig.
