Zempire Monstamat Twin Air Mattress
The better you both sleep at camp, the more fun you'll have the next day. Wake up recharged with the Zempire Monstamat Twin air mattress; its noise-minimizing surface feels like memory foam.

- 30-denier superstretch ripstop polyester surface molds to the contours of your body, minimizing partner disturbance and creating a more comfortable memory-foam-like surface
- Heavy-duty, 75-denier TPU polyether film-laminated base provides durability; cross-cored foam allows the mat to self-inflate quickly
- Luxurious stretch fabric improves comfort and minimizes noise
- 360° one-way valve allows you to add more air when self-inflating and prevents air from being sucked back in when deflating; it can be set to 3 positions for ease of use
- 3D vertical sidewall construction allows the internal foam to expand fully; this sidewall expansion also reduces surface pressure, creating a comfortable cushioning effect
- Includes carry bag and repair kit

amazing at first, until it starts to leak
Oh, how I loved this camping mat. So comfortable and plush. Until it mysteriously started leaking after a few years. It's too big for me to put into a bathtub to discover where the air might be leaking, and upon very close visual inspection, as well as keeping my ear close and trying to listen for a feel air escaping, it's impossible to figure out. I've read some other reviews about finding many pinhole-sized holes after some years, and I wonder my is experiencing the same. This is a big (and expensive) disappointment. :/
Monstamat twin
Bought the Monstamat to replace a similar Macpac mattress which let us down too easily. Slept on the Zempire Monstamat for the first time recently for 3 nights in a row. It is a superior product. Inflates well and packs down far more easily with the 3 way valve than the MP ever did. Bottom material of the Zempire seems thicker and looks like it will hold up well. Top material is soft but gets a little warm if you sleep hot and perhaps marginally less breathable than the alt option. Would easily choose the Zempire Monstamat again just based on the valves and bottom layer alone though.
Very difficult to roll up, inconvenient to store
This mat seems to be very comfortable for the hour after we unpacked it to check it out. However, reading the instructions reveals two serious issues. It is very difficult to roll up, they state that it may take several tries (it took me five, and I weigh 190lb). Even after all that it does not want to roll straight. They also say that you should store it unrolled (that is, inflated). This adds an odd element to your household decor. The 35 mm screw valve will work with either the Zempire pump or the Flextail with the N4 nozzle, which should make deflation easier, doing it without these is far too much hassle. However, the recommended storage as inflated is a dealbreaker for me, it’s much too bulky. This is going back.
amazing but holes on third trip
This mattress is so comfortable and nice to sleep on, that is until it leaks. We bought this for our second camp trip that we took end of may. By our third time using it (mid August) there was clearly a leak. Bummed that we spent to much for only to be able to use it twice.
Monstamat
Just getting into camping as family a this year so though best to invest in a good sleeping mat. Pros. great if sleep on back. Very easy to inflate / deflate / back away. Smaller that an air bed. Cons. Honestly not enough padding between me and the ground and needed another layer of comfort (foam underlay). I am 90kgs and 6'1 tail. We have invested in the double z leg stretcher and hopeful that will make a big difference. Will add review once given it a good go this coming xmas holidays.
Super comfy
I've had this for a few years and it's super comfortable and easy to set up. My only problem is that I find it really hard to deflate and roll back up.
CapeYork Camping Adventure
We took our Pro 4 air tent and Monstamat for a 16 night challenge. We were on the move the whole time…tent up, tent down! It took no time or stress at all to set the gear up and then pack it away each day. Sleeping was blissful every night, even in fierce and windy conditions. We look forward to the west coast of Tassie next when we’ll take our stretcher as well. Highly recommend Zempire for comfort camp experiences.
Monstamat > Bomber 3D
Originally purchased the Twin bomber 3D, but returned it as it was too thin and required extra air to stay off the ground when laying on my side. Would be perfect if you like a firm bed, or plan on using it ontop of an existing swag mat. The Monstamat is only 3cm thicker, but it made all the difference. Definitely worth the extra money and it is extremely comfortable for a camping bed.
First self inflating mattress
I was eager to test this product at home before taking it on our camping trip, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. I’m looking forward to pairing it with my Z Leg Twin Stretcher for added comfort during our Christmas camping adventure. The initial experience at home has already left me excited about its performance in the great outdoors.
Just Plain Awesome
just got this outta the box in the weekend, already feels better than our previous inflatable matress, and no sweaty pumping up required! We're already considering upgrading our kids stretchers to these in the future. Oh and the online store experience was great as well, will definitely check out Zempire in the future for our camping needs
