25 days in Iceland and they look brand new!
I bought these for my daughter when we spent three months in Europe, including 25 days in Iceland. She hiked on volcanic rocks, glaciers, and up some of the roughest trails in Iceland and the shoes kept her feet warm and dry and looked basically new at the end. She loves the pink color and I'm planning to buy her a bigger pair now that she's growing out of her current ones.
Great sneaker
I wanted a comfortable, waterproof sneaker. This is a great pair. I am an older woman with very small feet so I buy children's sizes. I also like that the children's laces are a little shorter so that they don't dangle over the shoe. The fit is perfect, they are nice looking. I do find Salomon shoes/sneakers tend to run a bit smaller, so I recommend sizing up one size to get the perfect fit. I have bought a few pairs of sneakers, hiking boots so far and will continue to purchase more.
Cool for kids too
I’ve been wearing XT-6s/-4s for years and recently my youngest said “I wouldn’t mind shoes like those.” Having worn hand-me-downs almost exclusively for nearly ten years, he’d never actually picked out his own shoes. While he never seemed to really care about that, it felt like the right time for him to pick out something new he wanted. He chose the XA Pro V8 Waterproof in black because they were the most similar to the XT-6/-4. Needless to say, he’s pretty stoked.
Great kids shoes!
My step son is on his 5th pair of these... Climbed 3 mountains with these shoes and they performed outstanding. Waterproof, mud proof, comfortable and supportive. My daughter finally came around to wanting a pair and she was in love as soon as she put them on. Unfortunately they were a little too small so I had to return them. Waiting on the return to order the next size up. These are great shoes for active kids! Don't hesitate with these!
Great waterproof sneaker
These are my son's second pair because we love them! We've tried others, but none that are actually waterproof like these are. They're great for playing in dewy grass, small puddles, and mud. He says they are comfy. Easy to get on. We like the elastic tie instead of laces. It's easy for him to adjust.
Perfect for an active kid in a wet climate
These worked so well for my kid last fall/winter/spring that I'm back for another pair. He's outside kicking a soccer ball around the playground during recess every day, and in Seattle, that means wet shoes. These are truly waterproof and they don't slow him down.
Great Waterproof Shoe for Kids
Both my kids have this shoe and it is their go to shoe nearly everyday, even when not wet out. They love being able to tighten the shoes themselves and they are easy on and off. The shoe’s grip is great for their adventures climbing, running and having fun.
Good waterproof shoe
This is the second time I purchased these for my kids to wear on rainy days. The previous ones lasted until my kid outgrew them. They are a comparable price to other waterproof kid shoes.
