Overall quality of this shoe was not so great.adtwr taking with store guy it looked like that I got the bad piece. Hopefully the replaced one will work great. So I would say try it chances are only mine was defected.

Great Shoes for a Fussy Kid!

My 8 year old daughter loves these! She says they're comfy and that they make her faster at running. She wore them for hiking around the Northern California/Southern Oregon coast and they worked great for her. Kept her feet warm and safely on the trails.

Great right out of the box!

I bought these for my 10 year old son who was hiking a 14er in Colorado and his current shoes were not going to be the best/safest option. He had two days to break these in before his hike. They were comfortable right out of the box and he said he had good grip on the hike, including on a pretty lengthy rock scramble. I also love the speed lacing option!

Adventure Ready!

My husband and I have worn Speedcross for years and wanted to get the kids a pair for their first backpacking trip and they did not disappoint. The trails were muddy, slippery, and had rough terrain and the kids did great. They mentioned numerous times how the tread grip helped them navigate the terrain. Highly recommend!

High quality

My son has been wearing the SpeedCross since he was 5 years old. He is now 13 and still loves them. Won’t wear anything else. A great everyday ape and fantastic for his cross country running. Plus, they even last to hand down to his younger cousins.

Great and easy shoes

They look great , the easy to do shoe laces features makes it easy for my 5 years old and also fun. He really likes them, I wish there were a little less stiff though. This was for my 5 years old boy who I take for hikes.

Worn quickly

After a few days of use the color on the heel box was wearing off from black to green. Also, the stitching is compromised and I am dissatisfied with the quality and we have had other pairs in the past with no issues.

She loves them!

My six year old girl loves these trail shoes. Says that they are grippy and fast! We’ve walked several trails with these and so far they’ve been great.

Awesome Outdoor Shoe for Kiddos

These shoes are great, really well made and seem like they will hold up well to the abuse of a 7 year old.

comfortable hiking shoes

I got it for my nephew. It's comfortable, not tight. And the size is accurate.
