[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the pants had a wonderful fit. They weren’t too long so i didn’t trip over my feet while bouldering or rope climbing. They didn’t ride up while i was wearing a harness. My gym has very abrasive walls and they handles them very nicely. The item is for anyone of any levels as they are a wonderful pants regardless of the skill level. My only compliant for the pants is that the front pockets are shallow. I would recommend either adding a zipper to the pants to keep important things in place when approaching climbs outside.

Awesome climbing pants

Love the quality and style of these pants. Wore them scrambling and climbing in red rock canyon and they held up. Overall, they were comfortable in the legs with a harness. The material was flexible enough for high feet and tough enough to be sliding on my butt without being too heavy. I didn't have an issue with the inseam, (I'm only 5'5") and climbing in warmer weather. My big issue was sizing. I bought an XS because I was between sizes and have NO curves. Im typically size 2 and 115lbs. So when I put a harness on, especially with draws/biners/etc., it pulls my pants down. These pants fit perfect without my harness on, but with both the tight pant waistband and harness pushing on my stomach for 8 hours, it actually became painful. I returned the XS and got a small. This works much better. This may also be a personal problem. If I see these on clearance, I will get them in other colors because I would wear them as every day pants too.

The pants only look good in photos

These are apparently only cute if you're a skinny model. They didn't look good on my athletic, "normal" body. I normally wear size small, but these were very tight on the waist. They are also ankle pants; I am short and wish they were a bit longer. I don't recommend buying these. BD just makes them look good in the photos. For the price, the material could be better. I like BD, but sorry, these pants just aren't cutting it.

Work nicely with a prosthetic leg.

I bought these pants as a gift for an above-the-knee amputee friend who has discovered that it's really difficult to find pants in durable fabric that can accommodate her prosthetic. These do and feel comfortable and seem snag resistant. She loves the color, fig. They're on the edge of too tight in the thigh, but are just big enough. She is 5'2" and is wearing a medium, which is generously roomy in the waist. I will probably get these in another color too for her.

New Favorite Climbing Pants

These pants are super comfy! I love the little extra waist fabric above the drawstring, it keeps everything covered no matter what position I’m in. I’ve only worn them climbing once so far, but they feel durable. The fabric is a good weight; they’re breathable but wind resistant. I like the length for the open cuff, they’re a little short compared to regular every day pants, but for climbing they never got in my way. For reference, I’m 5’ 7”, 135 lbs, square build, I’m usually a small in bottoms and the small fits perfectly.

These have become a wardrobe staple

Pros: I love these pants. I receive compliments each time I wear them, without exception. The color is gorgeous, they’re insanely comfortable, and I can wear them for most activities, including boring errands. The flexibility is awesome and I appreciate the depth of the pockets. Cons: They run short. They expose my ankles and it looks a little awkward with most shoes. The elastic waist is a little too tight compared to the rest of the pants. Also, the pants are not water resistant whatsoever.

Please make them longer!

The sequence pants are amazingly comfortable and versatile. I absolutely love the material the fit the colors and especially the softness of the waistband. The only negative is that the inseam is 29-30. 5 inches. Why are we only making these great pants for short people? I’m not even real tall at 5’ 7” but they hit an inch above my ankle. It’s cute with sandals but I’d like the option of a longer cut so I’m not wearing high waters. Please please make them longer!!

great pants

Pants sent from GOD. Amazing, showstopping, incredible. Lightweight, durable while still being flattering. Doesnt restrict range of motion at all, found that they were the perfect length and dont get in the way when doing more technical moves. Runs big so I sized down but BD you have done it again. I am such a pants snob and these are the perfect pair of climbing pants. Will be buying more colors to add to the collection. Cheers!

Makes you climb harder

These are my new favorite pants. Ive been climbing in them and wearing them as an everyday-go-to. I purchased a medium in them (usually I wear mediums for), but I will probably end up purchasing a small next time for a little bit more of a tighter fit around the waist. I enjoy the mediums bagginess though. I'm excited to see how they hold up outdoor climbing (I've only been climbing indoors with them so far). Good job, BD

Favorite Climbing Pants

I really love these climbing pants. They’re lightweight yet made from durable ripstop material, so I know they’ll hold up well. The loose fit is both comfortable for climbing and surprisingly flattering. I liked them so much that I bought two pairs and they’re the only pants I’ve been climbing in since.
