Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Why so Short in Back?
I wanted a loose light wet top for hiking in summer. I ordered both the 1X and the 2X since I was not sure how they would git. I tried on the XL in the store and it was a bit snug, Why they made it so short in the back is beyond my understanding. At first, I thought I had purchased a maternity top. I am tall but never had a top so short in the back and long in the front I am keeping the 2X even thought its a bit big, especially in the arms, but its longer in the back. So I noticed the models on line show its shorter in the back. I should have paid more attention. But I will go with loose and longer in the back I dont feel like displaying my big loose butt.
Unnecessary revision ruined a great shirt.
I loved the previous version of this. It is lightweight, comfortable, and looks fantastic. UNFORTUNAETLY, it's been redesigned. The stitching down the front and along the sleeves has turned into a visual mess. It's become a strictly workout tee that can no longer be double as a casual shirt. The contrasting stitching is not flattering. It emphasizes areas I'd rather not emphasize. The version of this shirt didn't have it and didn't need it.
Short back=sunburn stripe risk
I have 2 of last year’s and LOVE them! Their split hem bottom with the back slightly longer than the front is great. I give this version a 1 star because the back is so short my lower back was exposed when I tried it on with a hydration pack and vest. I don’t want to have to slather on sunscreen to prevent a burn line across my low back. Please bring back the previous bottom hem design.
The Perfect Long-Sleeve for Any Adventure
I picked up this shirt last week, and I’m already obsessed! It’s perfect for biking: breathable, lightweight, and somehow manages to keep sweat from showing through, no matter how hard I push. The contoured stitching is super flattering, and I love the subtle pop of color. I just wish there were more color options with the same bold stitching because this design is a winner!
Swiftland Running T-Shirt
Loved last year’s model. Went back for more and discovered that shirt had been redesigned with top-stitching down the front and along sleeves. Very disappointed as I wear this shirt for many occasions including hiking and casual gatherings. New detailing puts it squarely in the “workout” category rather than “workout plus everything else.”
Lightweight and stylish
My wife doesn't like to be out in the sun, so to get her out during daylight I bought her this to cover her arms. It's lightweight so it minimizes heat and it does protect her arms, so she wears it cycling and walking.
REI finally nailed it!
I'm so thrilled that REI finally makes shirts fit perfectly on me. I'm 5ft and wear petite. I have been a member of REI since 1999. I know that REI makes good quality shirts with good price but unfortunately the design and cut was not flattering. But finally this Swiftland shirts fit nicely. I'm happy with this purchase. Gonna buy more in different color and short sleeve ones too.
Too short!
This used to be my go-to wicking shirt but it seems REI re-designed it recently - and it's now way too short. I'm only 5'2" so if it's short on me, I can't imagine how short it is for taller people!
Can't review it if I don't have it
Just a little upset, because I haven't received it. It was supposed to come by friday.Today is saturday
