Excellect winter coat:casual use and bycle commute

This is a great winter coat. This jacket keeps me warm standing around in temperatures in the mid 20s °F. It is relatively wind proof, but breathable enough that I don't get overheated. I've worn this during my bicycle commute in the city during cold temperatures. My commute is short, but I'm riding at maximum output for the majority of the journey with a fleece underneath and I did not feel over heated. The hood is insulated, although helmet compatible, fits nicely under my bike helmet. The body mapping of the insulation really helps with body temperature regulation. I really love the length! The drop hem nicely covers by backside and the front comes down just above the bottom of my pants zipper (many other brands cut their coats too short in the front). Cuffs have nice elastic on the inside half and Velcro adjusters in the backside half. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a new lightweight insulated jacket when I saw the marmalade coloured Xenair Alpine Insulated Jacket. I must say it was the colour that first attracted to the jacket so I tried it on. The jacket speaks for itself - not the colour! It is lightweight but very warm and cosy and a great fit. The attached hood is not obtrusive when not being worn and sits neatly outside the jacket. Easy to use zip and good number of pockets.

Had it in a few times now . As it’s not been cold enough up in the northern hills of England . It’s warm and very adaptive at regulating your body heat . I might even get another colour I like it that good .
