I’ve seen much better from Sorel
These sneakers are just alright. I love Sorel and have quite a few pairs of their shoes, but these were disappointing for 2 main reasons. 1. I didn’t expect them to be suitable for running or high intensity workouts, but they don’t feel like there’s enough support or cushioning for just walking either. The platform is just for show. Overall they’re not all that comfortable. That being said I have no problem keeping them as casual sneakers because they are cool and stylish. I’m hoping if I add an insert it will help. 2. The shoes I received look poorly made, especially considering the price. For starters, I can see discoloration on one shoe that indicates a mistake in manufacturing or most likely someone returned them. It looks like a stain. And there are little marks and stains all over the shoes in general. I don’t expect a perfectly pristine shoe because things happen during packaging and shipping, but it looks like someone super glued them together. Ultimately, I’ll keep them because I like the look and aesthetic. But I’m hoping in the future their shoes are made better.

First, the paint from the sole has transferred into my socks and the sole is now abraded. second, stitches came out on the inside of both shoes where ankle meets the fabric. third, my pink and ring toes are hurting big time after walking in them
Soft Comfy Sneakers
I love my Sorel Kinetic Impact II sneakers in the Cream. They feel absolutely so soft and comfy probably the best pair of sneakers that I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately it is going to be difficult for me to find my size in the black sneakers but I’m not giving up until I find them. I did size up a half size larger for extra comfort which was perfect for me. Will wear on upcoming vacation.

Not so fast…
Ugh. So disappointing. I had an older pair that were perfect. Not sure what changed but as a lot of other reviews say, these cause blisters. The collar is high and rubs the back of my foot near the achilles tendon. Of course, they felt fine at first. I didn’t realize the discomfort until I actually wore them for a few hours. Beware. Definitely wear them around the house for a while before you go outside. And make sure you like the socks you normally wear with them. These basically require ankles if you want to mitigate pain. I prefer the look of no shows so these shoes do not work for me. This is my 4th pair of Sorels and my first problem, to be fair! And I love the way these look!
Sizing Issue ?
As a long time, wearer of Sorel shoes, I bought this in the beautiful light gray with no hesitation. I opened them up, put them in my closet, and threw the box away. But when I finally wore them, something about either the angle of the heel or the height of the toe box just hurts. My toes slide up against the very front of the shoe, even in very thin socks. I am ordering a half size up in a different color to see if they are just off with sizing, or if it is the construction. I typically wear a size 9, but with Sorel lately, I am noticing that sometimes I have to wear an 8 1/2 or a 9 1/2. It all has to do with the toe box area. Here’s hoping more tests are run in future to ensure size consistency!

Sneakers look just as pictured! They are lightweight and breathable plus they look super cool with some chunky but well balanced proportions.
Not what I expected
I had them for one day and the sole is detaching and they are uncomfortable after the second day.
DO NOT CLEAN THE WHITE SHOE
LOVED the shoe to begin with. I knew as a white shoe I would need to clean. I got a bit of dust and decided to spot clean it and OH MY GOD the black dye from the bottom seeped into the white!!! It was a mess. I had to keep cleaning the bleeding dye, I did NOT soak the shoe but just even the damp areas kept bleeding the black dye into the white mesh and the laces loops. They look worse now then when I started. Warrenty department said to mail them back, they would evaluate, then send a credit. I asked...what if you sell out? What is my guarantee that I can get a replacement in my size and color and that won't do the same thing? I presume they've got to assume a white shoe gets dirty and at least needs spot cleaning? ( I tried to add photos it would not let me)
