[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are so cute and so comfortable. I was expecting them to be more baggy but they actually very fitted in the waist and thigh area. The fabric is super soft and comfortable as well as breathable. These are great quality pants and I will wear them often! I would definitely recommend them. So far they’ve held up super well. I’ve worn them to work and around the house as well as on errands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are very comfortable even in hot and humid conditions. I like the wide pockets and nice details. Good quality! Thicker fabric that is waterproof and NOT see through. True to size. Might be a little warm for hiking, but great for a breezy day fishing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m obsessed with my Columbia Skien Valley Cargo Pants for women—they’re my go-to for fishing and hiking in Oregon’s wilds. The fit is perfect, with enough stretch to crouch by rivers or climb rocky trails without feeling confined. The cargo pockets hold my fishing pliers, phone, and snacks securely, and the utility loop is great for clipping keys. The insect-repellent tech keeps mosquitoes away, and the UPF 50 and moisture-wicking fabric keep me protected and dry, whether I’m wading in streams or sweating up a mountain. They dry fast and feel sturdy, even after months of rough use. The drawstring waist occasionally needs tweaking, but these pants are functional, tough, and ready for any adventure. If you fish or hike, you need these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two pair short small (no XS available). They are extremely baggy. I took the inside seams in an inch (decreased leg circumference 2 inches) and they are still super baggy but at least wearable for safari. It wasn’t easy to alter because there are a lot of details you need to work around. Understand these pants are extraordinarily baggy. If you are looking for very baggy you will like these pants but if you are thin be prepared for difficult alterations. That said I am happy with the pockets and hope the insect shield works. I tend not to be picky as most of my clothes are baggy but these are huge.

I have tried buying bug repellent pants from a variety of brands, all the sizing has been crazy. I'm 5'4" and 125lbs. I bought the size small, they fit perfectly. The length is great, and the small cynch pulls at the hem offers the flexibility of shortening or closing the bottoms. I generally prefer waist bands vs elastic waist however this waist line does not "bunch" up, or generate excess fabric around the middle. The pockets are well positioned and will actually by useful. The color is great and compliments the skein jacket perfectly! The pant fabric is light, comfortable and the fit will definitely travel from jungle to city! I wish these were available in more colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Columbia Women's Skien Valley Cargo Pants Light and comfortable pants for hiking. But unfortunately they are way too baggy and run very big. I wear size 4 so I ordered size M but it was falling off. The fabric is soft and pleasant. I also liked the pockets but the fit was the problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many pockets it was nice to be able to carry everything on my hike and it was excellent. I felt nice and cool the entire time. I even feel during the hike at some point and the pants held up, very durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Skien Valley Cargo pants are now my go to camping/hiking pants. Breathable and light. Very true to size, I’m in a small. Lots of pockets. Seem like they will Last a long time.
Tried these on in store and glad I did. They look to be week made with useful pockets. The bungee style tightening for the waist was confusing, as it was held in place by a tab sewn to the pants. But they fit VERY baggy. I am a solid 18W in most pants (denim, khakis, other brands of hiking pants) and tried the XXL. They were huge in the crotch area and very baggy in the legs. If these stretch at all after wearing, they'd be falling off. I sized down to XL and the waist was too tight. Unfortunately, I didn't go with this brand on this shopping trip.
I wasn’t sure about them at first but like that the are utilitarian, good fit. They are more baggy on me and that’s fine. The green color shows up more as gray in real life. Also fine. Comfortable and worry less about ticks, but of course I still do my tick checks. My sister really liked them and is going to get a pair too.
