Features

  • An ideal choice for side sleepers, MegaMat provides a soft, pressure-relieving comfort experience that cradles the body for a better night's sleep
  • 4 in. mattress height comprised of high-quality open-cell polyurethane foam keeps you warm and comfortable; provides ample thickness to keep most campers from "bottoming out"
  • Bottom and side walls are built in 100% recycled 75-denier polyester with TPU polyether film laminate
  • Air-core-channeled foam insulation reduces weight and bulk, while also improving compressibility when rolled back up
  • No one wants a rough, scratchy mattress; MegaMat features soft, 100% recycled 4-way stretch tricot polyester material that cradles the body and provides next-to-skin comfort
  • 3D vertical sidewall construction maximizes the available sleep area and reduces tapering at the edges, similar to your own mattress at home
  • One-way, low-profile inflate FlatValve allows the mat to self-inflate when opened; insert the included valve pin into the valve opening to speed up air intake
  • Separate high-airflow, one-way deflate FlatValve allows for efficient mat deflation
  • Practical welded side handle for easier handling and carrying
  • Optional: Use the Exped combo inflate/deflate Mega Pump accessory (not included) to more quickly and easily deflate your mat
  • Customizable comfort—adjust the firmness of your mat by opening the inflate valve and pressing gently on the one-way flapper to purge excess air
  • After allowing the mat to self-inflate, top up MegaMat to your desired firmness with the included Top-Up Pump accessory
  • Comes with the roll-top SideWinder stuff sack for easy storage and temporary repair kit with adhesive patch

So comfy and cute!

As a heavy set woman who is a light sleeper this thing is awesome for camping! If you asked my husband he would describe me as the princess who can feel the pea under a 100 mattresses! Unless that matress is this one! I used this on a 4 day backpacking trip and dont regret the extra weight it takes up. The first night it was a bit firm so the second night I ended up letting a little air out and man that was the sweet spot. It held air perfectly and never got cold. It felt solid and I wasn't sliding off of it in the middle of the night or making a bunch of noise everytime I turned over. I didnt feel any pressure points and I never felt my body sag down enough to touch the ground through the pad. The self inflating hasn't really popped up very fast but that might change with more long term use. I appreciate the storage bag being easy to use and side opening. I also love the print since purple is my favorite color. The trade off is the weight of course. It's not heavy to me but it's not an ultralightweight option. Personally sleep is my most important concern when camping or backpacking. If I dont sleep well I dont have as much energy and if you are on a days long trip that really starts to matter. I can definitely carry the extra weight and go the distance if it means I sleep like a baby in luxury each night!
