Comfortable Lightweight Pullover
Very well-made lightweight fleece. I have taken this pullover on a few hiking trips and it fit well in my backpack without adding much weight. There is a nice zipper garage near the chin so it is still comfortable even when zipped all the way up. I noticed there is plenty of stretch in the fabric, so I did not feel any discomfort even when wearing a pack and reaching my arms up. The left chest pocket fit my phone perfectly and had a breathable mesh pocket. The one negative I experienced was when I tried to wear the pullover without another shirt underneath. The zipper had a rough edge and I found it uncomfortable against my skin. Other than that, I would highly recommend this shirt for cooler temperatures or when layers are needed.
Your new favorite top - it really does it all
I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The goldilocks of tops - technical enough to wear for a run, stylish enough to keep wearing all day, cozy enough to sleep in. The color is beautiful and I have found myself reaching for this nonstop since receiving it. It works well with jeans and is the right legnth with leggings. As someone with longer arms, it can sometimes be tricky to find things that fit correctly, but the sleevs on this top were just right. It isn't designed to be wind proof and riding the bike I did feel a bit of a breeze, but that's more about undersanding the features.
Nice lightweight activewear pullover
Took this pullover camping and it was a great mid-layer in the morning and top layer in the afternoon. Was comfortable to wear all day, but the square grid fabric is interesting. I guess this is to make the pullover light weight and breathable, which it is! The fit was good with another long sleeve shirt beneath. I am excited to wear this during the ski season. I think it will be a great mid-layer beneath my ski jacket.
Surprisingly warm
I was surprised how warm this was considering how lightweight it is. I’d 100% recommend as a layer for a backpacking trip. Lightweight and warm. Also got lovely unsolicited compliments on the color - bonus :)
Looks good and feels good
This top has a great fit and immediately became a go-to top for me. It's comfortable, lightweight while still providing good warmth, the pocket is a good size (fits my phone), and it seems fairly durable. This would make a good long sleeve layer under a hard shell for hiking or mountaineering in cooler temps. I haven't used it mountaineering yet, but plan to bring it next time I go. I tend to run warm, so this feels like a perfect layer for me that's thinner than a jacket, but warmer than a typical long-sleeve shirt.
My New Go-To-Pullover for ANYTHING!
I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is without a doubt the most comfortably fitting womens pullover I have ever had. I often struggle with size and fit as I'm just under 5'4". This smooth fitting pullover fit in all the right places, not too tight and not too loose, just the right amount of relaxed. I wore this on the trail, in commutes, for work, and on the plane - which is the only photo I have as we forgot to put a SIM card in the camera on our mountain biking adventure :) I'm looking forward to buying a couple more as I'm a blue, black, grey attire gal and the periwinkle blue is my fav!
Almost Perfect
The shirt seems to breathe well. It is structured base layer with two different grid like patterns (a smaller one on the sides and a larger heavier on the front and back). I would normally look for a base-layer without a grid pattern, but this ends up being very comfortable and breathable. I wash it on delicate cycle and line dry. It dries quickly. The shirt is lighter weight than one might expect given the thickness. It is an easy packing addition for any outdoor activity. Fit In Patagonia clothing, I am usually an XS to S depending on the garment. On this shirt the XS fits perfectly. I am a slender 32A, with a waist of about 28". The arms are plenty long and it fits well around the shoulders and chest. It loosely form fitting. I would say snug, but not at all binding. The cut is flattering. Color The color "Solstice Purple" is beautiful. I would say it is a deep blue leaning towards purple. What I wish were different.... The one pocket is directly on the chest so that anything in the pocket can be seen through (e.g., rectangle credit card), and makes the chest look uneven. The backside of the pocket is a mesh. I would prefer the pocket to be on the side seam (sleeve or bodice) as I would be more likely to use it. I wish the shirt had thumbholes. This shirt has a cozy feel and thumbholes would add to that as well as make is easier to pull arms through another layer.
Super comfortable light layer!
This pullover is the perfect weight for the early morning temps (60-70 degrees). It’s very comfortable, moves with me well, and has held up great to use and washing with no pilling. I’m an aerialist and I’ve used it prior to workouts and classes to keep my shoulders warm and ready to move. I even wore it through some aerial hoop movements and it was not restricting in any way. I find myself reaching for this layer regularly in place of my normal zip up or hoodie.
The perfect layering piece!
I love it! It is warm, yet light weight!! It is great to Layer up and layer down for a great versitale pull over. Better than a sweatshirt! Great color as well. The size is true to the description. Thank you so much for a great piece!
Great Color, Great Shirt
I haven’t worn the shirt yet, but it is lighter than the one I took to Antarctica. They say it’s just as warm. Looking forward to trying it out this Summer in Northern Michigan on cool evenings.
