Purchased as first dedicated pair of road running shoes and they've been excellent from anything between a fun run/casual jog to timed 10ks. To my surprise, I've been wearing them as work shoes because they're not "loud," they're fairly low key in terms of design, and they're comfortable to wear for 8 hours (elementary school teacher). I have put about 90 miles on them for the last two months between runs and daily use - they've been reliably comfortable and supportive. Altra's have been my favorite true to size "working" shoes (have had several pairs of Lone Peaks for trail running) and this pair has been no different - large toe box, comfortable body, flexible/breathable outer material, and no rubbing/sore points; true to size. Zero drop has always left my feet feeling "awake" without feeling strained, and the medium cushion also feels great on my knees after spending extended periods on pavement or linoleum. Was skeptical if they would begin to show wear early (as has been the case w some of the Lone Peaks) but they've been holding it down - no complaints on material or construction. Taking them out for the test 5k, I passed by a local educational farm and the resident Jersey milking cow was quite intrigued. I'd like to think she approved. Overall great design, low-fuss, running shoe and daily driver! **Note: The exterior sole material is a matte purple/slate color as opposed to the opaque periwinkle that it looks like in the product photos (if you're getting for stylistic purposes :)
This is my second pair of Altra Expereince Forms. I love them! They are super comfy and light and the zero drop is so much better for my feet and stability! It takes a little getting used to looking down and seeing a wider toe box, but the comfort that offers is so worth it!
I'm a pharmacy technician. I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day. I have been wearing Brooks and accepting that I just had bad feet that hurt and I was WRONG. I will never wear another brand than Altra to work again. No more limping around after my break or after getting home, I barely think of my feet at all anymore unless I'm wearing other shoes.
My wife has had a hard time always finding a shoe comfortable for her feet and now walks without any foot pain since switching to Altra. The first pair she bought was at Fleet Feet where they scan your feet and can make recommendations.
Wish you still made Provision but this is pretty close. Now don’t ever discontinue this!!
Good looking shoe but runs small. Going to have to return them.
Very comfortable from day 1, great supposed and movement
