Don’t waste your money

Absolutely awful. My child has worn these for less than a month and they are peeling, fraying, and have lost their shape.

Warm and spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of these. We love that it doesn't have that sock/boot/inner that would create and extra step for my kids. We love that Keen runs wider, especially around the toes and that it has that toe guard as well. The fabric used for the insoles is my only concern. We only have had a couple days of snow and my kids used these for about a week so far and there is already lint build up from their feet rubbing on the insole fabric. My son is a bit sensory and feels bothered by the bumpy texture that has already formed. I'm sure thicker socks will help!

Elastic stretches

The elastic bungie to tighten the boot is too long to begin with and drags on the ground, but it also continues to stretch out the longer you use the boot, which continues to make it longer. You can’t get a tight fit with the bungie so their heels drag the entire time. Minimal use and the heel is completely worn down. We unfortunately had to toss after one winter.

Nice boots, but coating flaking off.

Bought these for my 6 and 8 year old. Both liked the boots through the winter. no complaints of cold feet. My only complaint is the coating on the boots flaked off. The quality was a bit under what I would expect from Keene. Unfortunately Keene only has a 30 day guarantee. These boots should be guaranteed for craftsmanship.

Caused Sores on My Kid’s Ankles

We purchased these in the northern lights colours. The stitching of the front and rear uppers sticks out into the boots, hurting the ankle bone. See sores in the photos. Otherwise, they fit a little wide, like all Keens. We were not able to use them long enough to comment on durability.

Good

Easy on/off. I expected a bit more insulation given that they are based in NH. We will see how it goes with the kids' toes!

Great for wide feet

My son has very wide feet. These fit him well, keep him warm and dry, AND are easy for him to take on and off himself.

Our little won't take these

Our little won't take these off. He loves them and they keep his feet dry and toasty in our PNW rainy season.
