comfort with some style

These are really cool shoes. I usually wear 9 in keens, 8.5 or 9 in most shoes, and I ordered a 9 in these and they fit fine. They are slightly narrower at the toe box than the Targhee style. The laces on the navy add a lot of fun and make your foot look smaller. My feet swell in running or most walking shoes. But not in these. They have enough of a sole and enough shoe to be good and stylish walking shoes. I will wear my hiking shoes on a hike in the woods but now I have these for my morning walk and I'm really pleased with the looks and comfort. There is a bit of tightness on the bunion on my right foot so that will take some breaking in.

Yes, I would buy this product again and again!!

I've been waiting for dark blue for a while and was excited to see it available. I normally buy the Presidio model but wanted the color so took a chance on the Jasper. I was skeptical when they arrived because they looked so narrow compared to the Presidio and I have foot deformities requiring wider shoes. After loosening the laces and prying out the paper packing, I put them on and was met with the same comfort and lack of pain as all my other Keen shoes. I have yet to be disappointed in Keen quality or comfort. Still not crazy about the koala bear toe guard appearance but that's a Keen thing and minor compared to the comfort aspect.

I FEEL FREE

This is how shoes should feel on your foot! - there is very little number of shoe brands and shoes in general that provide you with feel like Jasper. I can feel and move my toes, I can feel and control my every step. Yet I am aware they are there on my feet I feel so free and light that these shoe model should never die. This is a top model comfort shoe not just for Keen but for the industry. All shoe makers should try this shoe on their foot and revise their production accordingly. It is so unique design too. I am proud to wear Keen, so my hussy said :) p.s I had Jasper myself it is time for me to replace.

Cute, but not terribly comfy and runs small

I've gotten a 6 in all of the other Keens I've owned (like at least 8 pairs), but tried a 6.5 and 7 based off of the reviews and ended up keeping the 7 because my toes kissed the front of the shoe in the 6.5. The 7 is a touch too big, but I can still walk in them. These are probably the most uncomfortable Keens I've ever purchased, however. They're cute, but I won't be taking them out for any long walks, and definitely not for anything like a hike; the soles are thin enough and there's so little support that I feel like I'm walking in minimalist shoes. That's not inherently bad, but it definitely puts a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot, which doesn't feel so awesome after a while.

I Want MORE!

So to say that I have feet that make shoe buying difficult is an understatement... I am always a little iffy buying online if I have not tried on or already own. I followed the advise of others and Keen and went a half size up. I am on my feet a lot for work and in an industrial setting (hard surfaces). Whoever it was that compared these to her slippers... SPOT ON!!! It does take a little to get used to the lacing to the toes and the tongue tends to make things feel a little weird at the toes at first. But I put these on... wore them all day (12 hour shift) and my FEET WERE STILL HAPPY!!!

Love them so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered the Jasper Suede. Im a true five and ordered a six by online recommendations. I like to use thick socks from time to time and these felt great with regular socks but have a lil space that I know will be great for when I want to use thick socks. Its my first time using keen and im beyond happy with my purchase!

Best All Around Shoe

I haven’t had the pleasure of owning these shoes for long, but in our short time together I’ve put them through many tests of strength. These shoes can trek up a mountain face with ice and snow no problem, or keep you comfy on long concrete commutes. They provide the diverse applicability of an approach shoe with all the comfort you could seek from your favorite sneaker. They are adjustable down to the toe so you can customize your fit depending on the activity, and they are water resistant until a point. So happy with this purchase, and excited to wear them for years to come!

Comfy Jasper is a gasper

I bought the Jasper for hiking and long walks. My existing Keen hikers are still in good shape after six years but have always made my feet sweat like nobody's business, and I'm not at all a sweaty person. Maybe they were waterproofed and I didn't know. But now I'm thinking Keen shoes generally don't breathe well. The Jasper style is a good looker and basically comfortable and supportive, but my feet were pretty sweaty after just a two-hour hike. I can feel the edge of the tongue rubbing the top of my foot, only in the right shoe. But I'm hoping that will soften. I'm satisfied otherwise. Keen shoes have always fit me very well. Shoes that breathe like a horse are my next target. So these might be my final Keens.

Replacing all my other sneakers with these

I love these shoes they are the most comfortable things I own. I also love the color waves they have available. Fit true to size for me. I went with the 7. Would recommend!

Not only would I suggest them to a friend, I would buy again

I'm a rock climber and an avid hiker. When I saw the look of these shoes they reminded me of climbing shoes and I loved that. I decided to get these for light hikes (and quite frankly, whatever else I decide to wear them for). I was hesitant ordering without trying them on, but they fit true to size! I love them so much, there is a good amount of padding. I wore them around to see if they would need break in time and I would willingly say you could hike in these out of the box, they're SO comfortable! I can't stress how awesome these shoes are and how much I love them.
