Warm and draft free
These gloves feel a little stiff upon first putting them on, but I believe this is a product of them being heavily insulated and the leather palms being a burly. I've skied in these gloves on a couple days around 20°F so far and my hands have stayed warmer than with my previous heavy gloves. The gauntlet seals up around my jacket sleeves which helps with warmth, too. All of the seams are well done and looks like these are built to last.
I wouldn't recommend this.
The material used on the outside of the glove is very easily damaged. The palmar surface consisting of leather is very cheap and tears easily simply by carrying my snowboard in my hands. The material around the thumb seems to be made of a svelte like material and looks awful after wearing it 3 times from the elements. Overall not very happy with the exterior material of the glove. It does keep my hands warm.
Love them.
I do love the new gloves. I used the size chart and I feel like the XL was the right size for me. The look and material are of a high quality. They keep me warm in cold conditions skiing. For future builds I wish: -They had a zipper pouch for hand warmer and doubles as a vent. I would recommend these gloves and would purchase again.
I Love Your products but On One Condition.
First of All I want to Thank the Burlington North face Excellent Job! But unfortunately the items I've gotten was either oversized or too Tight like the Mask Bacalva to big need to work on that . And the men's Gortex ski glove too tight is A Large I need A XL please Help To Whom it may concern.
Solid Colder Day Glove
Great glove. It's definitely going to be my colder days glove... Seems well constructed and will be able to take a beating. The only thing I'd have to say is that the sizing seems a bit snug, and the elastic wrist loops will be stretched and replaced before I know it.
OK glove, look elsewhere for warmth.
Expected them to be at least a bit warmer than my old Montana non-GTX, polyester gloves. Nope, traded fmaterial flexibility for no real advantage. I guess if you are skiing in wet snow, GTX may be advantage, but overall, not worth the added cost.
Good quality gloves
Found them on sale and had a gift card so thought I'd give them a try. I love them! As long as you take care of them by washing them with NixWax and use leather balm they seem like they could last forever!
The warmest!!
My husband will only wear these gloves. He uses them for everything from shoveling the driveway to a weekend of skiing. They are so warm, keep his hands dry, and are comfortable enough to move freely.
I would go with a different glove
after one session of snowboarding, the Gore-Tex coat on the top of the leather part of the gloves, and on the palm part starts deteriorating and changing color as if it has been used for six years
Gets soaking wet and eventually become worthless
Soaked from shoveling snow for 1h, water slowly seeping in until your finger freeze Goretex layer should be on top to prevent other fabrics from getting wet.
