I really like these shoes; and, I LOVE the mission the manufacturer. The color is versatile and went well with my jeans; and will go with ohter outfits. They are not too casual and not too dressy. They are very lightweight and the bed of the shoe was comfortable. I received compliments from my friends. Unfortunately, these shoes did not work for me. The pair I have runs on the small side. I wear a 7.5; they were a bit short in the toe and in the width..When I put them on, they just didn't feel right on my heel. The first time I wore them required me to walk about a one third of a mile from the car to the venue. The right shoe did not feel "right" on my heel during the the entire way (I did not feel the shoe was slipping on my heel). It was the same going back to the car even with tightening the laces. I ended up iwht a hot spot on my right heel. Not all shoes work for me. I was disappointed these did not. .
I love these shoes!
I'm picky about shoes. I'm the type of person who can't go barefoot in the house because my feet need both support and padding. These shoes provide both while being incredibly lightweight! I wear them frequently and my feet don't get tired. I wear them for walks, to work, and for casual foot wear. Because they are so lightweight, I hardly feel like I have anything on my feet. I suspect they run just a slight bit small. I'm typically a solid 8, maybe a rare 8.5 and the 8.5 fits perfectly. I have already recommended them to a friend and highly recommend them here!
Fun transition season kicks!
These Saola shoes (I got them in the navy color) are a great pick for the awkward in-between seasons where it is too warm for boots but too cold for sandals. They are a fun option for when you just need a cute, simple shoe around town. I have wide feet, so I was skeptical about the fit out of the box; they looked narrow. The material is flexible without losing its shape, and I was able to loosen the laces for a more comfortable fit. After an entire day in them, I find that my pinky toes can be a little irritated. I do really like the arch support they offer—not just a cheap flat insole with no cushion. The colorway is perfect and the soles clean up easily if you wander off the sidewalk!
Perfect knock around town shoe!
I was looking for a new pair of shoes to take on a recent tourist-type vacation and found these cuties. I wanted comfortable shoes for lots of sightseeing walking on concrete and asphalt. I wanted something cute that didn't look like my running shoes; I wanted casual but fashionable. These are perfect for my laid-back personality. I wasn't sure what size to order - I wear an 8.5 in my athletic shoes and tend toward a 7.5 or 8 for "street shoes." So I ordered a size 8. After wearing them for about 20 days so far, I'd order them in an 8.5 next time. The 8 isn't too tight, but I like a wee bit more room to accommodate different thickness of socks. The woven fabric provides a little bit of stretch that helps to get them on and off. The shoes came laced with an "overhand" lacing which makes them a little harder to loosen up for getting on and off. I'm going to switch them to an "underhand" lacing. The insole is made of cork which I have never seen in a shoe. Perhaps that's what makes them so comfy? My longest day on my feet was about 7 hours and they never got achy! Bottom line? I'm sold and will probably order some slip-ons next!
Comfy, casual, everyday shoe
When I first picked up the Cannon Knit 2.0 shoe, I was impressed with how lightweight it is. Even though it is lightweight, the sole still feels sturdy and durable. Sometimes the gripping on the bottom of casual shoes aren't very strong, but the gripping on the bottom of these shoes are stable and prevent you from slipping on wet surfaces. The breathability through the knit material is great for people who have sweaty feet like me. The nice casual look makes it easy to wear with almost anything. I was impressed with the comfort and cushion of the cork insoles after walking around town for a while. I prefer wearing socks with my shoes, but the cork insoles make it possible to wear these shoes without socks. I've been looking for some new casual, everyday shoes and these are now my go to shoes.
Perfect every day shoe
Today I walked many miles in these shoes and it was like walking on a cloud. Extremely comfortable, from the sole to the fabric and fit. A great versatile style. Love that they’re made with recycled materials as well.
Stylish - Comfortable - Versatile
I love these shoes! When I tried them on my first thought was that they were too small, but after walking around in them for a few minutes they molded to my feet and felt great! I typically wear either a 6.5 or a 7 in casual shoes and have a narrower foot. These in the size 7 were the right fit for me. The Cannon Knits are very lightweight and can be worn all day long. The knit upper is breathable for hot summer days, while the cork insole provides a small arch support and light cushioning under my feet. The rubber outsole has a good amount of grip without being clunky or heavy. My one complaint is that the laces are too long…I must double knot the laces to avoid having them drag along the ground. These shoes can be worn anywhere – from running errands to an evening out and about with friends. And it is a bonus that they are from a brand with a mission of sustainability!
My New Go-To Casual Shoe
These shoes were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I have high arches, and I especially appreciate the arch support this shoe provides - impressive! I’ve worn them walking around town and neighborhood, just hanging out, and in a variety of casual social situations. Though I would not choose these shoes for a serious hike, I did find that they grip well on rocks and did not slip on any wet/slick surfaces. Simply put, they’re really fun and comfortable! And a bonus - the laces stay tied!
Great casual sneaker
These sneakers are a great casual shoe for wearing out and about in town or at work. The cork insole is very comfortable and fits my high arch quite nicely. I don’t have bad foot fatigue from walking and standing for extended period of times when wearing these. They’re incredibly easy to slip on and off without untying the shoe because of the pull loops on both the heel and the tongue. Laces stay tied and I don’t find myself constantly having to retie my shoes like I do with many other sneakers. Very happy with these sneakers.
Smart looks, lacks in comfort
This shoe is very smart to look at and probably beats most canvas shoes in that department. It runs small though. The manufacturers have tried to put in an arch however it feels sharp and digs into the sole making them uncomfortable. Good for a quick trip for errands, will not recommend for long periods of time.
