Soft and nice to touch. But the fit is terribly wrong. For context, I usually wear 34B bra and size 4 tops. I got a Small size for this and the bottom part is really tight on me and I consider my upper body to be lean. While the bottom part is too tight, the upper part is very loose. Given that, I'd think this is made for people with B+ size cups. If you want a proper fit, order half to one size up, this material is stretchy but when it stretches out, it's not comfortable, it feels like someone is squeeze your ribs real hard -- not to the point you can't breath, but you definitely feels the pressure.
Love it! But the top hem sits oddly. It fits perfectly everywhere else and is very flattering.
I purchased this to wear on backpacking trips and long day hikes. The top is really comfortable and a great cross between a sports bra and a crop top. Since it’s merino wool, it stays odor free for days. It’s become one of my go-to tops for day hikes, backpacking trips, and trail runs.
