Smartwool  Intraknit Strappy Bra

Bleeds green aquamarine! Even after washing still continued to bleed green dye and even stained my hiking shirt. This is the first time I have ever had wool underwear bleed color. Yikes. The bra is super comfortable for cooler temp hiking, but the green bleed makes it a no go.

This is a very comfortable bra, with just one teeny leprechaun issue. I have washed the bra several times, but it still continues to bleed green! The bra feels nice, well made and great quality. But you might order a size or half size up. Omg this “slim fit” band is tight enough to squeeze my organs. I am debating returning the M for a large and I’m a 36A

Great for running! Fabric is a dream. I purchased a size medium 32A bra size. This bra runs incredibly small I could not have purchased smaller. I’m 113lbs.

Same review as the other style, same color: Almost everything is perfect with this bra, but a big con is the smell of chemicals (maybe dyes?) that it has. It is nauseating (and I think that's why I got sick the next day). I recommend that you wash before wearing with borax and laundry booster to get rid of the odor. Still, it won't go away. I got it on sale, and I washed it, I'm not sure I can even return it. Worst thing? I got two: one in this style and the other in a similar style. Both have the same problem. :( Good thing: it's true to size (at 5'4' 118 lb), and it looks durable. Also, it is perfect for yoga, everyday activities, and hiking. It keeps everything in place. LOL.

I wore this Smartwool bra for almost a week straight while hiking the Appalachian Trail, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Even after days of hiking and sweating, it didn't smell, didn't feel gross, and stayed comfortable the entire time. What impressed me most was how well it pulled moisture away from my skin — I had zero sweat rash or chafing, even in spots that usually get irritated. The fabric felt soft, breathable, and never itchy, which is rare with performance gear. If you're looking for a bra that holds up during multi-day hikes or long trips without constant washing, I can't recommend this one enough. Smartwool really nailed it with this piece — it's functional, durable, and super comfortable.

Love the look and feel of this bra, but it has ZERO support for us chesty girls. I am 5' 5", 185 lbs, and wear a 38H. I do not recommend and will be returning.

I really wanted to like this bra but just couldn't make it work. It's supportive and I like the look but the design is flawed. It fits like a long line bra, but the band is narrow and just at the bottom of the bra, allowing it to ride up and roll under the breast. As a 34B I don't need a ton of support but found the rolling and riding extremely uncomfortable and unflattering. The lightweight pads also seem to slide around inside the bra, worsening the weird look. Wish I could return. I'm 5'10 150# 34B and ordered a medium which fits well around my ribcage.

Incredible low-medium impact support and great quality. The intranet mapping and compression makes this ideal for day hiking or nights in camp. I’m a 36J and wear a large (mapped to my band size) with nearly full coverage. If you’re larger chested, Smartwool Intraknit is your best wool bra option.

Once I tried merino sports bras and underwear, I couldn't go back to cotton. This bra stands out from my other merino bras as being extra supportive (while still being a flattering design). It does run a little tight, so definitely size up if you're between sizes. I use this for everyday (no air-conditioning in the summer heat) and for backpacking. The bra doesn't get stinky, doesn't feel wet and cold when I'm sweating, and dries out fast in the sun after a quick dip in a lake or stream.
