Disappointing length
The quality of materials and construction are excellent. However, the product description said that size XL would have an inseam of 33-34 inches, and the actual inseam is just 30! This is very disappointing. I will keep the pants, since it's difficult to find well-made pants these days, and since I was able to get them on sale, but they won't be nearly as useful as I'd hoped.
Fantastic travel pants
I bought these to wear with the matching quarter-zip shirt as a travel outfit. The pants performed fantastically - even after 16+ hours of travel, they did that magical wool thing where they wick sweat and avoid smelling while running through an airport, but also being warm while sitting at 30,000+ feet. These joggers are thicker than a traditional baselayer, so I didn't worry about showing my lumps and bumps in a crowded airport. The pockets also kept things tidy. I'm generally a U.S. women's 16/18, and an XL fit great.
My favorite pants
These pants are great for casual, rugged or dressy occasions. Fit well over dress boots or under gaiters. Shopping in town or out on the trails. Flattering fit yet roomy enough for long janes.
