Best Upgrade Ever

We bought a new camp stove about 5 years ago and the regulator has finally gone. I didn’t love it in the first place but it did what it needed to do until it finally bit the dust. We scoured high and low and read all of the reviews and settled on this one. It doesn’t have an igniter but I do not care, one less thing to break. The flame is legit, lights easy and even though there are no wind shields on the side, it stayed lit with some heavy wind and rain. The pans don’t slide around at all which is so helpful. And the footprint is much more compact than every other camp stove I’ve found. However I still can fit my two biggest pieces from my SS Stanley set on here without being off center over the flame.

Worth every penny

Found this sucker in the SLC Garage Sale area for $150. Worth every penny. It’s sturdy, easy to setup, and the perfect size when cooking for a family (4 in my crew). I love that the gas hookup is flexible not rigid like most stoves - making it easy to use in multiple areas without a large flat space or a table. It’s so easy to collapse and stow away when not in use with the lid doubling as a wind shield. You don’t even have to wait for it to cool off before you can stash it away after you’re done cooking. I’m no gear expert, but I did meet a pretty awesome REI worker at the SLC store who helped me settle on this gem. Glad I didn’t go with the other Eureka stove I was considering. The Swedish design and workmanship really shines! Highly recommend. Literally nothing I would change.

Buy something else

I hate this stove. It’s basically 2 tiny backpacking stoves stuck in a camp stove case. Flame / heat dispersion is non existent. I’m constantly moving pots and pans around to get food above the flame. Yes it’s slim and lightweight, but a $50 Coleman cooks 10x better
