Good compression
I was excited to purchase these since they came in solid colors. The compression is perfect. Not too tight but holds you in nicely. The fabric is very soft. BUT they are a little too thick for my liking. Too thick for hot yoga and it feels like the fabric isnt breathable. Will wear during the winter months for outdoor activities or low intensity workouts. Also, these attract lint, pet hair, etc so I was constantly lint rolling my leggings. Nothing compares to the spacedye leggings. I wish you would come out with solid colors in the same spacedye softness and fit. Also, please come out with more walk and talk colors for us petite fans.
High impact approved
I usually wear beyond yoga for lower impact activities. But this new material is perfect for higher impact. Yesterday I wore the matching set to a 60 minute boot camp class, they stayed up, nice compression and kept me looking good while running, jumping and lifting. The blue color is gorgeous and eye catching. I ordered my usual size as I get in the space dye material. They fit like a second skin and feel luxurious. They do show sweat, but it dried quickly, I do not mind bc I was working my booty off. I look forwarded to ordering another pair ! These goes perfectly with the matching crop bralette , so order both and make it a set!
Disappointing
Like other Beyond Yoga items I have, the fabric is very soft. However I found the fit of these a bit strange. The legs are very tight but the waist is loose (and my waist is not that small!), there is no drawstring to adjust the waist. The legs are very short on me, almost cropped, though I am tall so maybe better on more petite ladies.
Weird fit
I was super excited to try these and ordered a set. The fabric is amazing and the colors are vibrant and pretty BUT the sizing is off. I’m a small in other BY leggings and the small in these were both looser and tighter. The waist band is super rigid and almost didn’t make it past my nonexistent hips and butt even thought it fit well at my waist and looser in the legs. If it wasn’t so hard to get over my lower half I would have kept it but don’t want to struggle every time or size up as the rest would be loose.

5'6 130 lbs Athletic build Even when the style or fit isn't for me, all of BY's products have at least been well-made. So how did these happen?? The material was thin and completely unflattering, I could barely get the waist past my thighs (again, my shape is basically rectangular, so there is hardly a curve to get past here), and the compression was basically non-existent. My VS and Target leggings give me more support. Again, very unlike BY. I recommend the brand, but can't recommend these leggings at all.
Great to Wear
Love my POWERBEYOND™ Strive Midi Leggings in black. I'm a stickler for quality and for the price tag on these, they should not start to "pill" the first time I wear them (or at all). I love how they fit (I'm 5'3" and 130lbs with a short waist), I purchased a small, they are not super high waist, comfortable, stretchy and not see through, but they did pill on the upper left thigh without rubbing or friction to the area. I bought them in hot pink too. Debating on keeping them.
Big disappointment
I wanted to love these leggings - the fabric felt amazing - but the waist is ridiculously small. I couldn’t get them past my knees - which is bizarre in leggings! I’m a size 6 and ordered a Medium, which is perfectly easy to get on and very comfortable in the Spacedye. Impossible in these new Powerbeyond leggings. Maybe a design flaw in the Powerbeyond leggings- or I just got a defective pair? In any event, these are unwearable for me. They’ll be going back.
Just bought a pair of
Just bought a pair of these leggings to try for kickboxing and running and I can’t believe I love them just as much (if not more than!) my Spacedye leggings. They feel and look great, and they stay put. I don’t know how they manage to be compressive while also making it feel like I’m not wearing anything, but the fabric is that soft! Also love how moisture-wicking they are. Definitely looking forward to ordering more from this line!
Good for Yoga or the Gym
Sizing first: these leggings tend to run small. I'm 5'5", 119 lbs, and typically, a medium size fits me perfectly; however, these are quite snug, though they still fit well once on! The fabric quality is decent—durable yet not the most substantial I've experienced, but it gets the job done. What I really love are the color options available. I've chose the black, green, and blue and have received numerous compliments on each.
Stick with spacedye
Sizing is not at all like my other BY leggings- I usually wear a large. The large in this felt too tight in the waist so I sized up. The xl is bigger but doesn’t stay up and feels too short. Spent my whole class pulling my pants up wishing they had two inches more waistband. Fabric is soft but that’s all it has going. Not even really compressive or flattering. A big disappointment from a brand I usually love.
