Not a bad coat overall!
I will say briefly that I work for an outdoor sporting company where we sell this brand and others similar if you know what I mean, and overall I think this jacket does well comparable to other jackets. This jacket can be warm but as someone who runs cold, I find that I need a couple minutes to wear the jacket and warm it up before I really feel warm outside. Also, I would suggest wearing a base layer or something under it if you can. The armpits are a bit tight so that can be an issue. The collar zips up nice which is really nice for when the snow is flying in your face. Overall, I like the jacket, but if you are looking for a jacket you can wear a simple long sleeve under and be toasty, I would suggest something else (again, I run cold and tend to be more on the lean side so take that information into consideration for this jacket).
Good and Bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like a very warm coat, and isn't to heavy. I love that it has the drawstring to tighten it. But, like a lot of my other Columbia coats, the arms are always way to tight. I size up because i know the arms are tight but the body always ends up being to big. Hopefully Columbia will fix this problem eventually so i can return to buying their coats.
Great lightweight jacket, runs small
Love this jacket, love the color and the warmth, but it runs small and is very tight in the armscye area, the place where the sleeve meets the front body of the jacket. I do appreciate how long the sleeves are. I will go up a size and see how that works.
Bad fit
I just tried this on and the sleeves are super long and the jacket is super tight in the chest. I got an Xtra large to prevent this from happening. The jacket is too big everywhere else, but I can't even get the zipper up.

Sleeve is a little tight, otherwise it’s great!
