I own a regular down jacket, and love it. . So I always want a parka. It’s light and packable , great for travel, and warm enough for cold nights at Christmas markets! It’s true to size with enough room for layers
It's light and beautiful but it is not as warm as I expected and not windbreaker. Not much valuable for the price in my opinion.
This coat is beautiful, and seems very warm (haven’t worn it out yet). I know it will become one of Mr go to winter coats. My goal in buying this was to have a packable but warm coat that also looks nice when I go to NY, and this checks every box! Now I want the other colors! One thing that is important to mention is that it runs big! I’m almost always a medium in coats, but based on reviews, I got the small. I’m glad I did! I even could go to an xs, which is really weird for me. I’m good with the small though.
I love my new coat, it is so lightweight and fits perfectly (true to size). The coat is so comfortable and honestly I worried wouldn’t be warm enough due to how lightweight it is but…nope. I was out shoveling snow with temperatures in the 20’s and wind chill in the teens and was toasty warm! Thank you Cotopaxi for another great product. I own several different items made by Cotopaxi and have loved every single piece!! Keep up the good work and spreading goodness, in this together.
I wasn’t sure on the sizing of this jacket but typically wear a medium so ordered that size. It’s roomy on me but when I think about all the layers I will be wearing, it will prob alt be nice to have some space. I can’t speak to cold weather as I’ve only worn it to about 25 degrees, but felt comfortable at that temperature. If you want something fitted I would probably size down but if you want room for. Cozy sweater underneath, true to size.
My wife had this coat for a few years. The zipper began to fail. Cotopaxi covered it under warranty and she got the same coat as a replacement. Wonderful company and phenomenal products!
I had an older version of this coat. The zipper broke so I ended up with this new version in the same size. BUT, it doesn't have the same fit. This one is bigger and not as form fitting and is really bulky feeling in the shoulders and overall feels like a thinner jacket as far as insulation. I'm bummed. I used to love my old one! I also don't like the color options in the new ones as much. I miss my old coat. . . . .
Very happy with my purchase. Living in NYC, I worried it’d be too thin for the amount I walk outside during the winter, but I’ve had no issues. It also rolls up small enough to fit in a large purse, which is great for traveling. I only wish I’d had it back when I lived in Minneapolis because it’s certainly easier (and looks better) than the bulky, heavy coats I used to wear there
This long coat is feather light weights and stylish. Its can be wearable for both sporty and business casual in cold winter. The color is not bright, but noticeable and visible for the driver at night and bad weather. I purchased one size bigger than actual size, so I can wear with heavy sweater, but curvy shape of the coat fit perfectly on my body. I love it!
Initially we purchased the backpacks offered and fell in love. My wife wanted the coat so I pulled the trigger and got it for her. She wants more items of course but will plan to get those down the road. The Parka does run a little larger, we are exchanging the medium for a small but the process was pretty straightforward.
