This coat is the perfect length and is a great thin (yet fluffy) and flexible warm coat. It is slightly fitted (still room for layers) and doesn’t make me look like a cylinder! Woo! It is not waterproof however, which was disappointing. The outer material does seem to dry quickly though. Since it is down, the coat will retain cold when wet and be thinner. If you avoid heavy rain it should be fine. When used for intended purpose it is 5/5. Bonus inner pocket with zipper.
I love everything about this coat. The length is great, sleeves are long enough (and I'm 5'11" so I have long arms), and it's been very warm. Have worn it in 20 degree F weather so far and it has kept me warm. I like the 3 color stripes on it to make it stand out from many other down jackets that are just one plain color. The only slight negative is that I have a large-ish chest and it fits a little tight in the chest. But still fits comfortably even with a sweater under it. I just wish it was a teensy but roomier in the chest. Fit is amazing everywhere else so I wouldn't have wanted to go up another size and make it baggier everywhere else.
This jacket keeps me pretty dang cozy down to about 20 degrees (with layering) and seriously feels so much warmer than a typical length puffy. Feels like wearing a down blanket or sleeping bag all the time. I highly recommend this down parka for style and performance, although it's more of an around town/camp item due to the length getting in the way while hiking/climbing/skiing. It does run a little bit large, but only really to provide room for layering. The only issue I have had is that some of the feathers have already started escaping in the one month I have had this jacket. I am pretty hard on gear though.
I love to coat. The problem is I brushed up against a door frame and my coat ripped. I’m shocked it ripped so easily. I have tried reaching out to customer care twice and haven’t heard back. I was just looking for advice on what to do and I’ve gotten no response. Thoroughly disappointed, especially for the price. Don’t waste your money.
I am a teacher and I am outside for recess and car rider pick up. This coat has kept me warm. I LOVE how long it is and the yellow color is great!! Finally a bright color in the winter. I normally wear a L but I got an XL because it felt like I could wear sweaters or bulky clothes under it. (5’5” & 170lbs)
I honestly love this coat so much! It’s lightweight and I can fit it into my backpack while traveling. It feels thin but still keeps me very warm. I was told the coat came with a bag to put in while traveling that I never came across but I love the coat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coat. I get compliments all the time. It’s warm and fits well with an extra layer underneath or just a t shirt. It dries quickly if it gets wet and, while it’s not a rain jacket, it keeps me pretty dry when it does rain.
I found the color to not be accurate. I thought it was a royal blue from the website and it was more like a black navy second it had a feather popping out. I tried two different sizes and each time the coke came with feathers popping out, so don’t really believe it’s down proof, there isn’t a lot of down in this coat for it to be warm. You’d have to wear it many many heavy layers underneath this coat to try and stay warm. It’s quite expensive for the fact of it having very little warmth to it. It’s also a bit of a big sack it really needs to have that cinch cord in the waist or at the bottom so that you can keep the heat in otherwise you’re gonna lose what a little heat you can get from this coat Had to go right back
Fit is perfect, feather weight is so comfy and warm. Highly recommended.
Good for traveling and daily wear to work,
